I have been experimenting and found that refilling carts works best for driving and dripping works best at home.

I am running out of the foamy filler things and want some advice on foams. Is this the foam to use as I have seen different types of marine foam? Also are there any toxins in these foams that I may vape?
Thanks

Oh yeah I forgot the link. Here it is.

First off, I don't have an answer to your question, since I've never used any other foam then what's in there to begin with. There is a blue foam that exists that a lot of people use, but I don't know any specifics.

If I were you, I would invest in some LR510 cartomizers (I'm assuming you're using an ego), and use those, but that's because I don't want to mess with inhaling some weird burning foam that no one has tested out.

I have the cartomizers already and they don't work for me personally. I have to suck too much air in. I also have the tank tops and I dont like them same idea too much air.
This is just a personal thing anyway so I prefer the carts with stuffing and I drip so I need to buy some.

I can pull out the stuffing from some of the stuffed animals we have I think its the same thing although I would rather buy the foam.

Yea, cartos can be a pain too lol.

I think this is closer to what you want, I can't find any that is actually blue, but someone might want to comment on this one: Marineland® Filter Foam - Filter Media - Fish - PetSmart

edit: here is the mod in full if you don't already have it: http://www.vapersforum.com/showthread.php?t=9594

I couldn't find the u stuff so I just grabbed the cheapest fluval there and cut it in to fillers for my leo carts after washing it.

Works well but no good for straight up pg (needs juice with some consistency), most of my stuff has vg anyways, and if it don't adding a drop or 2 is a cinch.

Taste is also way better than the stock poly.

Yes, the real thing E-Cig supplier sell you it's Marineland Rite-Size U, but I can't not find any vendor of it in Canada. In many forum, there are also talking of Fluval. I found Fluval foam in my local pet store and I can tell you that it's the same exact thing in white. So, go to your pet store and check for any foam that look like the blue thing, clean it, reclean it, rereclean it, cut it and try it.

The worst that can happen it's the lost of some juice and 5$.

Since most of you guys seem to be Cartridge users, I've gotta ask... Why would you use carts now that the Tank versions of everything exist? Do you enjoy the flavor? Because I can't see any upsides that Cartridges would have to the tank other than the loss of flavor that people talk about with the tanks. I figured Cartridges were just used in the 'old days' (aka a few months back) when you couldn't drip constantly, like when you were driving.

Thanks for all the help guys.
I personally don't like the tanks because you have to suck harder and get too much air and not enough throat hit. Also there is a loss of flavour as mentioned.

I don't really find it a hassle to cut foam and insert it in the carts.
I do believe it just has to be measured and done properly.
Ordering foam and carts takes too long for me and how many people actually recycle all the used plastic and parts.
Much more environmentally friendly to wash and redo:)

I have yet to find a cart filler that keeps the atty consistantly wet enough. I find with the PTB material it is good for about 5 - 10 hits then I get a burnt taste and have to add more drops... what about all of the juice that is still it the cart!!!??? Why isn't it feeding the wick???
Is this blue foam this secret? Do I dare dream it will work even on my Ego XL carts?
Still trying to find that perfect mod for those long drives!

I've never had luck with cartos. The joye & boge standard 510s I've tried don't give me the TH I crave. Maybe I'll try a pack of CE2s from HV. At the same time I'll zip out to the aquarium store to get some foam. Worst case, the tupperware full of unused vaping accessories gets fuller!

Always a fan of more ammo for building the perfect mousetrap
