Just got my first rba so I'm stocking up on supplies. Before I place the order I want to make sure this is the right type of wire. So, is it? Also, should I be overly concerned with the quality of the wire I am buying? This stuff is from Ebay...

Kanthal A1 wire 28 Gauge 100 FT (0.61oz) Resistance Resistor AWG A-1

for some reason. i cannot get out with the link.
but from the description it is correct , you want A1 kanthal.
just remember with something like 28 it will be very difficult to achieve higher resistance without wrapping like crazy.. most people use 28 to stay in the lower ohms. well under the 2.0 ohm range.

what kind of atty is it?, this will get you many suggestions.

It's an AGA T2 on a Provari for now, but I ordered the 28 for the Roller I have on the way with a kick. I do like LR vaping and I'm very new to RBAs, this is my first. So I wanna experiment and try a little of everything.

Little of topic, but does anyone know where to find the youtube video on how to wrap coils with the "kink" in between the leads to prevent hot spots?

yeah which rba is it and what device will it be on? like I use 28g 4 wrap on a z atty and it's 1.0 ohm on my ea mod, but it's mech so it will fire it. but no electronic mods will. so all that needs to be taken into account, if I wanted to use it on my vamo I do have some 30g that will get me there.

sorry to say but the statement about "no electronic mods will" is incorrect. the provari v-2 will fire a coil to 0.8 ohms, if not set-up correctly though, it can be tricky, but works great. so as far as a 1.0 ohm coil, the provari rocks this very good.

if your provari is a v-2, the 28g will work great. if the new aga's wick hole is the same as its predecessor, then a 4/5 wrap of 28g should get you to around 1.0 to 1.1 ohms, depending on the wicks finished diameter. this vaped @3.5v is a very nice vape. just remember with lower resistances, high drain batterys are reccomended.
