is upgrading to an aspire nautilus from a protank 2 worth it?

already have 5 tanks, all pt2's or mini 2's. just ordered a mvp2 and wondered if its going to be that noticeable if i upgrade to a variable airflow tank such as the aspire nautilus or if its a mniscule difference and should just use what i have already?

i typically never go above 4 volts on my ego twist, and all my devices max out at 5 volts, so its also noting ill never be able to go higher then 5 volts/11 watts max .

From what I have read..... "nautilus " seems to be liked by many on this FORUM...Even tho, I have also read that there are many that are having issues......
Having said that. It would depend on you. Are you not getting good vap from what you have? Are you building your own coils? Not enough/too much airflow and need AFC?

I for one am very happy with all of my BCC's where I rebuilt my own coils and they are about 200% better than factory crap coils.

I use 30g kanthal and 1.5 to 1.8 ohm coils. No issue with airflow neither.

So I'm not looking. I do have KF+ that I have yet to set up tho.

Cheers

yep, the vaper ive been getting has satisfied me quite well just off my ego twist and pt2's. no, i have not gotten into coil rebuilding or anything as of yet. got a box of 50 kanger coils coming though already for my pt2's.

was just curious if it was that much better i guess.ive read people rave about them as if it was the best thing since sliced bread. if its not that big a difference ill just keep using the kangers

with that many tanks, id recommend upgrading to the kayfun lite plus. Even though its expensive I'd say it's well worth it for a tank system. You can even get a clone and most of the time theyre just as good.

why is the kayfun plus better than the nautilus? im still a noob here so sorry if thats a dumb question.

It will be a significant change (for the better), all of your flavors will taste better. You will be happy and it is worth the upgrade and the best part about it you will get more CLOUDS.

The advantage is airflow... Which you can get as many have said 8-10 bucks on eBay and give your pt airflow control.
That being said I know the coil between the 2 are slightly different and the vape is a tad better but I don't see it justifying the expense..
The new Kanger version is coming out soon is supposed to be better than the aspire even.
Anyway the only other difference is the aspire hold more juice (5ml) which is too much in one tank for me.
Outside of that is the aesthetics the aspire reminds me of an old vacuum tube from an amp.
I think it looks cool but having that in my pocket would scare me..... My luck if break it in my pocket and sever my femoral Artery- death by vapor! I can see the headline now-lol

If you already have the tanks just get the Kanger bases that will give you airflow. It will make a difference.

can this be used without switching to the duel coils like whats found in the protank 3/aerotank? i hear there non-compatable pt2 coils in a protank 3/aerotank.

would i need to use the aerotank/pt3 coils to make this work? or would it work on the pt2 style coils?

Lol I hear ya! I spent my monthly budget for April and May already on my provari so now I'm scanning the net for the best price on decent juice.
Next piece of hardware will be a new aero tank when they come out, I have three of the current model and a couple packs of coils so I'm set.
But I feel you, I started three months ago and have amassed a ridiculous amount of vaping stuff between eroll kit, ego-c's, tanks, MVP.... And to think when I started I just wanted a battery and tank to get off the cigs and now... My have I evolved from the itis-lol

tried my ego twists 11 days ago.amazed.thought 'this is all ill ever need/buy'.

while that was probably true for need, i dont know who the hell i was kidding. oh well.

got a few new toys, off the analogs, another 50 days of not smokng its paid for tself lolol.

i figure ill hold off on a provari and buy myself that when i get to 1 year smoke free....as if i need motivation. i never even had analogs cross my mind at all today. dont know how they had such a grip on me for so long.

I used ego twists, and kanger pro tanks + evods bccs for 6+ months of vaping and was just as happy as ever :)

The truth is, you can find AMAZING set ups for VERY cheap. An ego twist and some pro tanks and evods go a LONG way. Or a few IBTanked Carto tanks.

Now I have an itaste MVP, and a mech mod, a kayfun clone, and an igo-w 5, and I'm in vape heaven.....but these things definitely weren't needed. Its just as the months go by, and you become more and more familiar with vaping, you learn the ins and outs, and eventually you want specific things.

I think WAYYY too many people on here make things complicated for themselves, and then they seem so confused when they can't figure out why nothing is working right, or they aren't satisfied. It is because instead of taking the time to learn , they are trying to substitute knowledge and experience with buying a tons of things they think will instantly be the bomb.

I think you are on the right path with ego twists and pro tanks. When you are ready to upgrade, just do some research and take it slow :)
