OK guys I have a problem. I am trying to unscrew the bottom cap to refill the nautilus but I can't. It's like it's glued or something. I have tried everything but I am afraid I will break the glass if I try any harder. Any tips?

Put it in the freezer for 20 minutes. Then try again carefully.

If you look at the design, you'll see that the coil screws into the chimney and the only thing sealing the tank is that huge white washer like deck on the base of the clearomizer. So you can disassemble it upside down or backwards if you prefer. Unscrew the top cap, then the chimney from the coil. Now just carefully turn the tank in one direction and the base in the other wiggling the whole tEventually you'll get them apart. I too was concerned about breaking the glass tank until I saw a video review of the Nautilus. Once I realized that it was only a pressure fit I wiggled and twisted and off it popped.

The head that mine came assembled with had a burr in the threading, so when I went to take it apart for the first time and wash it before using, it was hard to take apart.

I ended up taking a set of pliers, opened wide, to the top cap instead of the bottom, put a little pressure on it (careful not to squeeze hard enough to break the glass, of course) and unscrewed it. Got the burr out and it comes apart and goes together smoothly now.

Hey Nautilus owners! :)
What's your opinion on the flavor you get with this tank?
I'm using couple of BDC Nivi Nova-S (Aspire Pyrex tank with BDC atty) but I get a really weak flavor out of my liquids with it.

I see that the Nautilus is using a similar but not exactly the same Atomizer, so the experience might be different...

Thanks! :)

I find the flavor to be excellent. As a matter of fact the other night I was getting such strong flavor it almost felt like I was getting juice right on my tongue!

Had a new vaping experience with my Nautilus while on vacation up in Yellowknife NWT Canada. While outiside for several hours in -27F temp's condensation in the center tube froze into a solid block of ice. Taped a hand warmer to the tank to thaw it out. Also slipped a mitten on my MPV 2's battery to mitigate the cold leaching battery life. Worked out pretty good and on the second night saw some of the most amazing Aurora Borealis in the sky.

If anyone's interested, My Freedom Smokes has a good deal on the Nautilus -- under $30. They also have heads, but it appears they will only sell with the tanks.

Anyone have a good lead on where to get replacement heads only these days?

Desert Vapes. $13.95 plus shipping for a 5 pack. Amazing they sell the Nautilus heads for the same price as the regular Aspire BDC heads.

I swear by the Aspire BDC heads. Started using them when Smokeless Image started carrying the Aspire line. I have used the Mini Nova, Vivi Nova, ET and Nautilus. All give great flavor and vapor with my juices. Though I will admit the smaller ET and Mini Nova are a bit more flavorful.

YMMV depending on your flavors, ratios and power preferences.

The Nautilus has become my every day vape. Gurgling will happen with 100%PG juices if you don't use the largest air hole. I've been adding about 20% to 30% Humco VG my PG juices to increase the vapor and stop the gurgle, although I can vape 100% PG with no problems most of the time.

If you get gurgle, there's two fixes. One is to turn the tank and battery horizontal with the air hole down. Blow it out into a paper towel. The other is a pipe cleaner or a thin strip of paper towel rolled tightly to fit down the tube. It will go all the way to the coil and come out with about 3/8" of wetness on the tip and the gurgle will be gone.

This tank and the Aspire CE5 BDC are my best vapes for flavor. I'm planning on trying the RipTripper microcoil on my heads. I've already bought a micro torch and I'm going to Hobby Lobby for a coil winder today.

I get gurgle once in a while with 60PG/40VG and 70/30 juices. I find a quick reverse puff clears it right up.

What kind of coil winder does Hobby Lobby carry?
