Here in the Harrisburg PA area I have 1 mall Kiosk withing about 30 miles. A new B&M opened up about an hour from (which I will go visit in the next week or so). Other than that, it is online only. I've not yet seen another Vaper in the wild other than the mall where the kiosk is.

However, after seeing the benefits I'm doing my best to spread the word.

Three weeks ago I went with my wife to a doctor's appointment. My wife has been a smoker for 41 years. At that time she hadn't started vaping yet, though I bought her a kGo kit. Her doctor didn't seem the least bit interested. After the appointment, I talked with my wife and she decided to give it a fair try. It was strange because I was vaping at the time and her doctor seemed to have zero interest in it.

So, my wife hasn't had an analog in 3 weeks now.

This morning, we went back for her follow up and as things were winding down I asked about my wife's blood pressure history. After she noticed that it has dropped into the normal range I told her she hasn't had an analog in 3 weeks. The was shocked because the last appointment my wife told her she would NEVER give up the cancer sticks. This time, I explained what they were, how they worked, and gave a demo. My wife told her how painless the switch from analogs was and I gave her a packet of information I had put together from the CASAA website.

I told her if she, or any of the other doctors there had any smokers that were interested in making the switch to a safer alternative to feel free to contact me. I told her if she had any questions to let me know, and if she wanted any additional information to let me know. I told her I'd do whatever I needed to do to help get others off of the stinkies, including going to their homes for demos, help getting set up and help using their equipment.

My wife has been fighting lymphoma for 2 years now anything I can do to lower another's chances of contracting cancer I will do. I think the next time I see her I will make the offer to actually go into the office and give a little demo for her and the other staff.

I'm not really an anti-smoking zealot, but after trying every method of quitting except hypnosis, this was the only one that was EASY. My wife is my second convert, and I will be doing all I can to get the rest of the smokers in my family to this alternative, and there are dozens of them.

I have been living in France for 4 years, and around here it's becoming very popular! I live in a small city and there are two vape shops that are never short of customers. I often see people vaping on the street, and I know plenty of people that vape. I rarely even get asked questions about what I'm "smoking", because almost everyone knows what an e-cigarette is. It's great to see vaping become a big industry worthy of competing with big tobacco, especially in a country where there is LITERALLY a tobacconist on every corner, but there are some drawbacks to it. Because it is possible for vaping to take over the tobacco industries, possibly even making smoking obsolete, this brings two big powers down on the vaping world. Big tobacco, that want to sell their cigarettes, and the government, who collect HUGE amounts of taxes from tobacco sales. Last time I went to the vape shop, they told me that even the pharmaceutical companies (another huge industry in France, with pharmacies on every corner flashing bright green lights telling the population of France to over-medicate themselves) want to cash in on this. They want to sell e-cigarettes as a medication, selling them at ridiculous prices, and banning all other sales of vaping products.

Well that's enough ranting... Vape on :vapor:

Here near Charlotte we have Madvapes retail stores. When I first started going there were only a few people, now, there are a lot of people and I even have a fairly long wait at times. I do think that just by the nature of the business that transactions a normally slow with people trying different things and the like.

We were out to dinner a couple of weeks ago, right after we started vaping. I noticed this guy in the restaurant, vaping. We started chatting about it and he said he was a 2 pack a day smoker and he hadn't had a stinkie for 3 weeks. I work for the town I live in and know how anti-smoking they are, but to my surprise, no one in the restaurant seemed to notice or be "bothered" by the guy vaping.

My friend was at breakfast yesterday in the neighboring town. She smelled blueberry cheesecake (she is my latest convert to the vapor club) and looked up to see someone vaping blueberry cheesecake :)

I like the idea that I am seeing it more, but I myself, have not vaped in a restaurant.

Our local B&M said that his business has increased in the last 17 months by about 200%.

Just want to say that I'm very sorry about your wife's battle with lymphoma. I hope the switch helps her feel better. I also love the passion and desire you have to help others. That's great. :)

I think vaping is becoming more main stream in my area. I haven't seen others (that I don't already know) vaping in public, but members of my family have told me about seeing vaper's here and there (at a dinner party, at a restaurant, etc.) These are family members that don't vape but like the fact that I do. :D

There are no B&M stores in my state so everything is bought online. I haven't seen any other vapers. My co-workers have expressed an interest in my eGo, but they are hesitant to buy online, and would prefer to go into a store-which we don't have. They also balk at the initial ~$60 start up cost. But they don't have a problem buying $6 packs of analogs. Sigh. I'll keep trying to spread the word!

Very similar with me. What I do (if they really are interested), is let them borrow something from my stash for a few days. 90% of the time, they want to buy it...DON'T SELL IT TO THEM!!! Give them the web address of your favorite vendor, and get your stuff back OR just tell them to keep it if you can afford to let your gear go.

This keeps you from getting "blamed" if/when they break it. The most you're on the hook for is general "tech support", and the satisfaction of helping somebody :)

I went and checked out the local B&M store in Cincinnati yesterday (City Vapor Shop). It was nice. They had good stuff, and the prices weren't unreasonable. I paid $21 for a protank. I could find it a little cheaper online, but I got to fill it up right in the store to make sure it worked. It's a small store, but selection was high quality. Their Facebook page has some 70 likes, so not overwhelming, but maybe things will take off.

I think Altsmoke is opening a location in Cincinnati as well. They might have been having a soft opening yesterday (think i read that somewhere) but I will wait till they get all set up to visit them.

So we have gone from 0 shops to two in a short period of time.

Live in a smallish town in SW FLA -- there are only 3 smoke-shops that I know of in the area and they all carry ecigs to one extent or the other, but no 'vape shops' yet... So, the only outlet for vape stuff (other than the cig-a-like garbage at the gas-n-go) is extremely limited... Still and all though I am seeing people vaping once in a while... Don't know if they're all 'new' to it or if I'm just noticing it more since I've started...
