I got that one too from a store clerk (he wasen't rude and he knows i can take any jokes so we usually have fun) but that night idk why he kept on telling about vaping having cancerous ingredients in it and stuff (at that point i already had done a bit of research to find out what he said was untrue and proven so) he didn't believe me and he probably still dosen't to this day xD In fact my mom dosen't believe me either and often says i'm still smoking when i'm vaping lol, but thing i've noticed is that both our health got better,because i was smoking inside before so naturally all the 2nd hand smoke was getting to her too and i heard her cough alot during every night, ever since i switched nothing. I'm really amazed at how easy it was to transition from smoking to vaping once my basic research was done. Never looked back and with so many flavors available i don't see how i would 0.0

Personally, I just wouldn't care what anyone was saying. It's a lot easier than trying to educate them.

Marc411 was discussing this at some point, he has collected a bunch of information the he prints out and keeps around to hand to naysayers. It is a LOT of information, LOL. Only thing is, if anyone wants a copy, you'd have to PM an email address, as a lot of it is in PDF form, but there are lots of great articles in there all collected into a nice, orderly "Here is what you need to know." I keep it around in case I run into someone who is really rude to me about vaping, but that hasn't happened yet, though I'm not a cloud chaser so I think many people don't notice, or just assume it's a cig from a distance....

If the person questioning vaping (or rather, ridiculing it) is much younger than me I use psychology on them. After presenting a couple choice facts I just mention the fact that I'm older than them and more up to date concerning technology, and simply mention how sad that is on their part.

Then giggle and walk away.. they like thinking themselves technologically adept.. hate it when the older folk are further ahead in the times than they are.. lol.

Opinionated, that is too funny I'm not sure I could pull that one off with a straight face. Not with anyone who knows me, at least. Maybe strangers, but even the they might catch sight of my rather elderly and on its last legs smartphone... That the household forced me to buy, mainly for MapQuest. I will say that has improved my driving skillz quite a bit.
