I have been around this old block for a few years and after going through all the research from both sides..i would say yes, mostly because of my experience. Nobody knows to be honest what may be learned about vaping. Gotta remember we have had some issues raised and many of us have adapted and changed the way we vape...will there be more, probably. But i have never felt better since vaping so i am willing to take those risk over smoking. I already know what happens with smoking...vaping is still a unknown but thus far, it's getting some pretty good marks in research, depending on which side you feel is providing the best research. I will vape on because i am having positive results. I didn't with cigs.

One of the very young girls where I work told me a few days ago, while I was outside vaping and she was smoking (some sort of tobacco free cigarette) that vaping was worse than smoking cigarettes and nothing I said was going to convince her otherwise.

I think I would have told her that what is even worse is walking around without a brain, perhaps she should quit. I really can't stand the willfully ignorant.

I don’t think she’s willfully ignorant, just young and naive? She’s free to believe whatever she wants, won’t change my behavior one bit. Give her a few more years inhaling tar and she might have a reason to change her mind.

Ha, should of told her at least vaping doesn't have burning combustibles and carbon monoxide going into your lungs. Doesn't matter, be smug in the knowledge that you are vaping and not smoking while the young "know it all" is still smoking regardless of whether or not it's tobacco.

Oh Boy. I had an opportunity to ask the girl at work the source of her opinion that vaping is worse than smoking and her answer was...Huffington Post and Facebook. I had to bite my tongue to not laugh and tell her those aren't credible sources for scientific information. She still tried to argue with me that her tobacco free cigarettes were safe and just wouldn't hear me trying to explain that inhaling the products of any combustion is going to carry risk, more risk than vaping. In her mind the enemy is nicotine and not combustion.
Hmm, so she thinks Carbon Monoxide is safe. Did you ask her what is unsafe about vaping? Since all of the ingredients in eliquid can be found in food including nicotine. Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin as food preservatives and the flavorings are mostly the same as used in baking (not the fake tobacco flavors of course) There are a lot of misconceptions about Propylene Glycol being used in Anti-Freeze, but it replaced diethylene glycol which is a poison. That doesn't mean vaping is safe but it is safer than smoking and nicotine is not the dangerous part about smoking. Just Roll with it, you can't change her attitude but as soon as some of her friends think vaping is cool she will be right there with them.
PS. You should ask her how many Fire Fighters think Smoke Inhalation is safe :D:evil:
