Is vapors tongue a real thing?

I am pretty sure its a myth, though am a newbie but don't think t happened to me yet lol...

Don't know if it's real or not, but my taste buds have a mind of their own.

Vaper's tongue became a thing of the past for me when I started vaping at last 2 different flavors every day. It keeps my taste buds busy enjoying the difference between the flavors. I have 2 tanks that I constantly switch back and forth throughout the day.

I can see dry mouth affecting how things taste, but to lose taste for any significant amount of time is a sign of tissue or nerve damage...

I get it now and then. But seem to not get it much if I keep myself hydrated with water. Drink lots of water. And another thing I do is drink milk or orange juice or eat some bread & butter pickles to reset my palate.
