e-liquid splatter causing vapors tongue?

Hello and thanks for reading. I've recently started vaping only a few months ago and am hooked on the reliability and convenience of clearomizers such as the davide. I've been building my own coils to 1ohm on my vtr. problem is I keep getting vaporws tongue Its devastating! Clearomizers such as the davide are known for their splatter with cotton, my question really is if that is the couse of my vapors tongue? I mean its a strong liquid to have on ur tongue. Or is there any suggestions on how to stop the clearomizer splatter?

bendy drip tips help a lot with this... the iclear comes with one attached, but I think many vendors now carry others for tank systems that have a replaceable drip tip in general. Vape on! and I'm interested to see other suggestions for this as well.

I get this quite a bit if I over-drip the slightest amount. I used to think it was from the popping and crackling of the juice. More common I've found on the higher heat builds, as I'm currently at 0.5 ohms. If I can fix it with a bendy tip I may just have to pick some up.....................

I had a serious case of vapers tongue a little while back. I haven't had any splatter issues so I can't say whether that was the cause or not. I can say that it lasted about two weeks though. It was terrible. I could not taste a thing that tasted right. Food, vape or drink. It finally subsided and now all is good. I hope you find a solution. One thing i did stop doing was vaping cinnamon juice. After a few days of stopping, everything came back as normal. Not sure if that was the cause or just timing. Good luck!

Can I just ask what is vapors tongue? I've only been vaping 6 days so excuse the silly question.

By definition vapors tongue is where ur taste buds dull out to the point ur not tasting flavor from ur vapor. You have exausted ur taste buds more or less, which I think is happening from the liquid splatter I get from clearomizers POSSIBLY. I mean I love flavor, and am just trying to find my own personal solution. The bendy drip tip sounds viable, I was thinking along the lines of a longer drip tip.
