Isn't the red light supposed to come on when you're charging?

I've only done this recharging thing twice.
But I'm concerned.

I attach the battery, plug it into my cpu, turns on green.
My ego-t charger, while charging, stays green.
It eventually turns red. Is it supposed to do that?
I had a battery konk out on me this morning.
It's charging now. I think.

Tasting a burnt... ya know, it just doesn't taste right.
I think I might be doin something wrong.
I've only been using this for about 4 days.
I added a little VG to the mix.
Perhaps it's too thick to wick?

Anybody?
I can hear it sizzle. just a little.

If it's an actual eGo-T, your charger should be red when charging, and turn green when charged.

Tank systems, and atomizers in general don't like VG. It's too thick, and it leaves a lot of residue when vaporized.

I was just about to post, when I read yours.

UPDATE...

As a precaution, I started to unscrew the battery from the charger.
Presto! The light went red, and the battery blinked a few times.

I think I got it. Maybe.
I'm still wandering if my egos are damaged.

Can that burnt flavor be residue? Perhaps cleaning the darn thing
could solve the problem?

Just an opinion, but if you have to "fiddle" with it to get it to charge, something's not right. I'd contact your supplier and ask for an exchange. Charging batteries is a place where you don't want wiggle room.

Tank systems can get that burnt taste when they're not wicking the liquid properly. It could be your VG, it could be the wick inside the atomizer. They can fall out of position and require a little user intervention to get right.

Pull the tank out about 1/8 of an inch and press it back in. You should see some bubbles float up. Do that a couple times and take a puff. If that solves your problem, you have wicking issues. :)

Cant help with the tank wicking issues. as for ego charging......clean both the inside of the charging connector and the battery connector with a q-tip and a little iso alcohol. if there is a dark residue in either connector use a straight pin or jewelers screwdriver to lightly scrape out the goop. dirty connectors dont charge well. overtightening will also result in battery not charging properly. I screw my batteries into the charger until i just feel resistance then 1/4 - 1/2 turn; never tight. the led will blink to let you know the charger has made a connection. If it does not I simply loosen/tighten back and fourth about 1/4 turn until i get it to blink. If this does not work, please contact your vendor about getting a new charger.

edit: you should NEVER have to tighten a battery into the charger TIGHT for it to charge properly.
