Need help with charger. Suspect the lights indicate a full charge too early.

I've just gotten a VV box mod and I'm loving it. The batteries ,14500(s), died so I stuck them on the charger which is 1200mA and The red light, which indicates that the batteries are charging, turned green in maybe 15-30 minutes. So I think, "this can't be possible..." I put it into my device and they seem charged but weak. Again the light is green in 5 minutes. Does it just charge that fast? should I leave it on while they're green? (my intuition is no).

I've ego chargers go green too early and that usually meant the battery was screwed on a little tight. I turn it left until it turns green and then stop as soon as it is red. Since there are no threads on this mod I have no clue

Sounds like the Charge time as kinda Fast to me.

What type of Charger is it?

I'm not sure, everything is written in chinese. A local shop sold it to me with the PV. It has an uppercase N with two circles on the top-front portion, dead center. One circle sort of overlaps the other at the bottom. The batteries went dead after 2 puffs the second time I put them in it.

1200mA is quite a bit for little LiCo 14500's; nearly a 2C charge rate. The batteries might not be able to accept a charge that fast and it is tricking the charger into thinking they are done. You really need to measure the voltage of the batteries before continuing.

1200mAh Charger?

I thought that was the mAh of the Batteries being Chraged.

Yikes. That does sound like to Much. All of my Chargers are 450~500mAh.
