issues with a 510 lr atty

I have a brand new lr atty that works fine except after a few puffs it starts to taste dry but when i go to put in drops the cartridge is still full. Is this a wicking issue or something else? Anything I can do to fix this?

It sounds like a wicking issue to me. Perhaps a different filler that is a bit less dense would help. I personally like blue foam filler, but a bit of trial and error may give you the results you want.
