Brand new LR attys- no vapor, hard pull

I bought some brand new LR attys from a reputable juice supplier. He didn't like the taste of his juices at LR and was selling his supply for $3 each. I've had a great experience with LR attys on my Riva in the past but something just isn't right with these.

First off, they have a REALLY hard draw (I hope that's the right term), I'm new at this, but it seems like air isn't pulling thru or something??? Also, even when I pull and pull, I get very little vapor/taste. I've tried a few of them and they are all the same, useless. Does anyone know what might be wrong with these attys?? Is there anything I could do to try and make them work?? Thanks in advance!

I just got a weird atty and it also had a horrible draw. If I covered the 2 air vents in the atty threads and blew, no air came out the bottom center hole! I looked with a flashlight and magnifying glass and the hole is covered by a metal plate. It has a weird honeycomb design on the metal plate too. I think it's a flaw from the factory.

I'm gonna try drilling a hole through it.

As lori said try blowing through it disconnected from the battery and if it is still a tight DRAW yes that is a good term it is deffo the atty. If it is ok then it may be that the air holes on the sides are getting coverd whenn joining to the battery.
