Issues with Temp Control Vaping on XCube II

So I've had my XCube II for almost 2 months now and when I try using temp control atomizers (in tanks) I've had nothing but issues.

First issue I came across was I was not able to get a consistent vape when using temp control; from one atomizer to the next the vape is different at the same temp. I even burned out several atomizers when switching because of this (which I thought the mod was supposed to prevent), but I would soak the atomizer and let it sit for about 10 mins and it would still burn out.

Secondly in the past few days I've had issues with wicking, where I can't seem to get much flavor or vapor. I'm using the Starre Pro tank and was previously, before this issue, using standard atomizers and just recently switched to temp control.

Now in the process of trying suggestions to deal with the wicking issue, which just included taking non-fire draws, my XCube II began to repeatedly ask me if this was a new atomizer, even in between drags...so Now I'm totally not certain what is going on.

Any suggestions or tips would be really appreciated.

I haven't used the TC on the xc2 but I think the temperature coefficient(TCR) has to be set via the app(you have to pay for titanium and stainless access ) also when you plug in a new atomizer it usually asks if it's a new atomizer, tell it yes, that way it can get proper impedance settings for the coil, and track variances. Each wire type has a TCR that is needed for proper control. At least that's the jist I got. Otherwise if the TCR isn't set right, it just goes off a invalid default, and calculates improperly.
