So...Ive had my Kebo Russian 91% for a couple months, and Ive got the whole coil thing down pat. But...about a month ago I found a juice I absolutely adore. Its a 90/10 mix so VERY thick. My problem? Dry hits.
Ive tried perhaps every possible combo of wick/coil. 5/64, 7/64, long wicks, short wicks, not much cotton to lots of cotton. Also have tried everything from about 1.4ohm up to 2.2 ohm. Inevitably after 10 or so hits, dry hit. Ive been alleviating it by plugging the air hole and giving a short suck to get some juice back on the wick, and it works fine for another 10-15 hits. Im super frustrated. Ive also adjusted the airhole screw from about every position possible.
This morning I moved to a larger coil...1/8, 7 or so wraps, comes out to about 1.5ohm. About where I want it. Just enough cotton to not bunch up when pulling through, and cut so just the tail of the wick just touches the deck. Ill try this for today and see how it goes.
So. Any other suggestions? Im not ready to give up, and Im hoping moving to a larger coil might help, but any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
