Great. Thank you. Cause I have 3 of them but wanted to upgrade my battery from the one that came with the kit.
You should get the 30W iStick if you're upgrading. It would allow more room for growth into the next upgrade without having to replace the mod. The next upgrade/change in tanks need more than 20W.
As others said, get the iStick 30W instead.
The iStick 20W doesn't have a buck converter. That means that no matter what you set the wattage at it cannot drop the voltage below the battery charge. So, for example, if you were using the 1.6ohm coil in the Nautilus and your battery was freshly charged it would fire at 11W even if you had it set lower. The iStick 30W has the buck converter and can reduce voltage which not only means it can vape at lower wattage settings correctly, but the battery charge will last longer if you do.
That said, your Nautilus will work best in the 12-20 watt range. I typically use mine at 15W for sweet or darker juices and up to 19W with clear juices with little to no added sweeteners. It works best with 60/40 or 50/50 PG/VG ratio juice but you can use a 40PG/60VG juice in it as well. I wouldn't recommend anything more than 60% VG though or it begins to be too thick for the wicking material. Higher than 60% PG tends to be too thin and may cause gurgling and flooding of the coil.

If you had your heart set on the 20W, consider the new iStick Mini. It's a 20W mod now and is still 2/3 the height of the 20/30 watt iSticks. Something to consider anyway.
Thanks everyone. I have question though. I've seen several videos that said that vaping the mini at over 20w causes a burnt taste. Can that happen?
Yeah, that's the upper range for it. The reason I recommend the 30w is because the 20w isn't that good. They have issues with voltage regulation. The 30w doesn't have those issues. The 50w apparently are having issues with the power button so I would steer clear of that. There are better mods than the 30w, but for the money it works pretty well.
Well, the newer istick mini only supports up to 20 watts, so you can't actually use it at a wattage setting higher than that. If you use variable voltage with a resistance and voltage combination that would result in more than a 20 watt output, the mini drops voltage on the fly to result in a 20 watt output... just like the original istick. Good match for the nautilus mini since it has roughly a 20 watt cap. I just made another post in a separate thread with more about the mod. I'm planning to put together a proper review in the next few days.
