passthru vaping is limited by the chip - when a battery "dies" it has to be charged to a certain level before the passthru option allows for it to vape.


i believe the battery cuts off at 3.5V and only allows passthru vaping after it reaches 3.65 or higher.

Pass-Thru is the wrong term for it.

Most USB charge boards will only output 500 mA, that's about 2 watts. Not enough power to vape on. What you can do is vape off of the battery and charge the battery at the same time.

Exactly. You are not vaping off the power from your charger. You are able to vape from the power provided by the battery, but only once it has reached a power level that is determined by your chip to be safe. It shouldn't take very long to reach a safe vapable battery level and begin vaping off it while it is charging.
