My 1 month old iStick30 breathed its last today…just like that…refused to power on.

Before that, it went into auto fire mode, until the 10 second cut out. I took off the tank in a panic.

I put the charger back in and it was charging but wouldn't turn off. Then the screen said 'no atomiser' and it went off…. no amount of clicking after that would turn it on.

Connected it back to the charger and nothing.

I had a fully charged battery... and a nautilus sitting on it.

The Nautilus and/or its bvc coils are also another piece of **** but that's another story.

By the end of it, a dark cloud was forming over Cumulo Vapus.

Luckily I had backups…but yea….istick 30…was recommended to me by a guy at MBV…last time I take advice from anywhere but trusted forum sources.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. My son has an istick 30 he's been using for maybe a year now and he's real hard on devices. Guess maybe you got a bad one or he got a good one. He had an istick 20 before that and it only lasted a couple months before the 510 failed. I still have a istick 50 that I use from time to time. I also have a a couple istick 100 that I use more often.

I don't know what the problem might be….is it the chip or the battery gone dead? Or is it just a faulty firing switch that doesn't register the clicks any more?

If it was the battery, I could try and open it up to replace it with a 18650…Ive seen pics posted by a member who claims to have done it (although I don't know if he/she still alive :)

Is there a 30day or 90day warranty on that device?

Sorry it seems like you got a bad one. While frankly I've only bought the 'clones' I've been rather lucky and the handful or more that I've gotten have worked fine. One had a sticky fire button that required a little "fix it" on my part to make work but last I heard it was still in reliable use today.

Really sorry to hear that. I suspect it was a rogue one you got.

The iStick 30w was the first "good" mod I ever bought and they are still the mainstay of my vaping. I have both 30w s and40w s, they get daily use, have had a few drops and so far are holding up well.

Hope whatever you pick next works for you.

Same here - love the 30W. Have a 50W but it acts funky from time to time so it pretty much sits idle.

My iStick TC40w takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Many little dings in it from drops but no problems and it is my work horse that I use when working because of size and convenient pocket-ability. Kind of hard to put a Movkin Disguiser 150w or my Reuleaux DNA 200w in my pockets.
