I've owned 4 authentic joyetech products and every one has served me well. An ego T upgrade. 2 eGrip V1s and now the IStick mini 10w, The ego T still going strong at almost 10 months. I busted one eGrip and piffed the other. Just got the 10w mini and lovin it, fits my ultra low power niche perfectly.

And as the largest mfg if .01% of their customers have an issue that's one heck of a lotta people lookin fer a place to gripe about it.
Yep and I am sure that a notable percentage of those failures are user caused.
My wife goes thru a cell phone in about 3-4 months. I have had mine for over 2 years.
Does that mean that cell phone brand is crap?

One point as well any device with with a built in battery will have a lifespan controlled by how many times you have to charge it. For the typical user about 12-18 months.

Why I actually prefer mods with replaceable batteries.

How far up the iStick chain do you need to go before getting to replaceable batteries?

Pretty far, though the cost is still low.

The new PICO 75w single and i100TC dual cell, both around $30-$35.
And the upcoming i200 triple 18650.

I keep forgetting the previous generation's 60TC, that's a single 18650; and the dual i100.

Everything else iStick is built-in LiPo.
10 and 20w Minis, i20, i30, i50 & 40TC.

Wouldn't know. I've got no need to go any higher than where I'm at. I do have a few replaceable battery 5-15 watt mods in my vapegeddon armory but they'll just never be everyday carry devices for me.

I like those kind of mods, too. I do have two iStick Basics and three iJust Start Plus kits. Love them all. Got the iJust on sale for $9.99 each. When I think of things to stash away, though, I think of replaceable batteries. That's why I was asking about the iStick chain.

I was tempted to pull the trigger on those $9.99 iJust. Just didn't need it. Yeah you need a couple quality replaceable batt mods in your stash. That's why I grabbed a couple Sigelei Zmax for $9.99 shipped. Already had won an e-Huge 26650. If Joye would bring out something like a low power Pico 18350 I'd be all over it.
