The mode button is indeed extremely annoying. Slow in choosing the modes, and imprecise when adjusting watts in tc. Good thing I have my mods more or less married to specific atties and builds. No need to do much adjusting.

I do tend to use just a few toppers at a time, for several days even.
But then it's time to grab something new. :)

And I tend to not rewick until I have to, just turning down the watts or temp.
Lazy, I know. Boy was I glad when the VTC added the ability to go down in TC watts.

Oh, the ability to go down in watts was a much appreciated update on the VTC Mini. Even more so on the Cuboid :D

I pretty much rewick when I feel bored. Doesn't seem to be much need for it with tc. Even less so with coils. They really seem to last forever.

Still wringing out the PICO so time will tell, but I have a serious complaint over the 100TC.

They absolutely bolluxed up the UI with their inclusion of the 40 and 60's mode button. It's slow to advance, can't be sped up and now we've got eight modes to cycle through. Needing it for TC Wattage Adjust is just as annoying.

The RX is a solid home run for UI (call it a boundry ), and the PICO copies it to a tee.
Why not the 100TC?
Once I saw that you could use the ± buttons to scroll through the modes I was SOLD! as soon as I can afford to get one it will be my Next mod! Would love to get the TC 200 when that comes out. I just saw a review on the vapor trail Channel and it is Boss! triple 18650 n looks kind of like the RX200

Eleaf has a 200 watt coming out soon they are basically the same thing.. triple 18650s and All. I wouldn't even be surprised if they have the same chip.

I expect it will be the same chip. At the least... the same family.
This will make eight, nine (?) with that chip.
RX, iSticks, Cuboids, VTC, Presas.

No it doesn't... look again.
It's more akin to the 3D printed triple 18650 DNA200, whose name I forget.
All three cells more side-by-side than the triangular Reuleaux.

However... Kangside has a YiHi powered "Reuleaux" design mod out.

And there's an upcoming high end (leather trim, etc.) DNA200 from another brand as well.

Ah, found it...

We may be saying 'What ever happened to those Sigelei mods everyone used to talk about?'

Just what we need another iStick worshipers thread , please don't compare an iStick to the Sigelei brand , most Sigs are high quality , Sig also tends to appreciate their customers and back up their products when something goes wrong etc....

Eleaf has a terrible reputation for a reason , there products are known for being affordable but cheap in quality and they refuse to warrant their products , they say they do but they do not .

If the store you bought it from replaces it thats great but E leaf is known for refusing to take care of their customers and they have been busted on numerous forums for schilling very hard for their own products while criticizing the competition .

Reddit has busted Joytech /Eleaf a ton of times for having paid schills and all they do is post threads titled (iStick best mods ever) lol.

These days much higher quality mods are available that far exceed iStick quality for very affordable prices , read Phil Busardo's review on his Joytech/Eleaf factory tour which will tell you all you need to know about the severe lack of quality.

If you have one and like it and it works well, great , if you have no issues with giving money to a company that will tell you ( if it doesn't work right thats your problem) then you are a great candidate for an Eleaf mod.

Feel better getting that off your chest?

I have a SIg75 from last summer... sits idle, never used much. Poor battery life.
But that quality... it'll still be collecting dust when the Sun expands and dies.

Meanwhile, I'll continue to get daily value from my JT mods.
Yes, even the ones that die an early death. R.I.P RX. :(

Not a shill, but just to say I bought another iStick 40w TC to add to my collection today as my birthday present to me. That makes three iStick 30ws and 2 iStick 40ws I have....these were the things that showed me vaping could work and get me off of tobacco after nearly 50 years...oh BTW I got another GS Air 2 to go with it.

I'd argue that Sigelei and Joyetech are shifting in opposite directions from their prior track records; i.e. Sigelei is releasing thoroughly unimpressive mods these days, (have you seen that new touchscreen POS?), while Joyetech is releasing better ones; e.g. RX200 = winner, iStick TC 100W, (120W now) = winner, and the Pico is the best iStick yet... and they're all ~$40.

I started with the istick 20w as my first mod and will always like it because of that. It is retired now, but still works great. Have gotten a couple mods in between and now rocking the istick 60w and it's performing great. Think I may invest in those 10watt mini's myself, they are just to darn cute and so small.

My 40TC still works, and with the hidden Ti TC mode activated I can even get a passable SS TC vape on it. But... it's always had a "weak" TC algorithm so the PICO wins out. Or the VTC.
Or any of the current JT/Wismec/Eleaf line using the same TC code and chip.

There's a reason I've always refered to my RX as the "i200". :p

I didn't see anything saying 'when XXX happened I called ismoka
They just said/did XXX.' Is this from experience or just something you noticed on forums? Peeps are more likley going to complain about an issue that to rave about a mod that works as expected.

(.....snipped for brevity) perhaps you misread the title of this thread in your unabated haste to criticize this particular product? Ya think....Sunshine?

No , didn't miss anything lol. Truth always hurts.

You beat me to the post.

I was going to say... Travis did welcome all content, in the OP, including "problems... rants".
You're welcome to vent on the topic.

I can even disagree with your editorializing while acknowledging the factual content.
But it hurts less than you may be imagining. :)

People say the same thing about the Kanger Subox Mini mods. Love em. Been using one heavily for over 7 months now nary a glitch. Paid $22 for them, less than 1/2 the cost of a carton of smokes.
Been using an Istick Basic for 4 months and also no complaints.
The Istick Basic is a much better beginner device than the T18 Innoken which I also have one of but do not use any more.

Personally I see no reason for me to ever pay over $50 for a mod.
I also have a VTC Mini. Good mod but like the feel of the Kangers better.
Also have about 10 other mechs and VV/VW mods. Did not pay over $35 for any of them and all still work fine.
