I'd read this

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/601111-eleaf-istick.html

and this

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...discussion/603447-will-make-mvp-obsolete.html

I own a MVP2 and an SVD, am looking for my next purchase to be either an istick, MVP3 or SVD 2.0.

The istick looks good, but would remind me of my SVD with the 33.3hrz chip Edit; not proven yet (not as good as the MVP).

None of my current devices have failed me, so I'm going to wait.

Oh, BTW

Pros; Smaller, girlish, pocket/purse friendly, stealth, could be inexpensive, has a 6 month warranty at least one site.

Cons; Unable to under-power (or whatever it's called Edit; "step-down"), no usb charging port, small deck so big atty tanks overhang, unproven, people loosing their mind over this, so you have to fight like heck or go to eBay to get one.

Let us know.

Wait!! There's going to be an MVP3?? When? What's the info on that??

I have an MVP2 & an istick. Love them both. Was going to buy another istick when the price went back down but an MVP3?

I'm thinking of buying one of the two. Please tell me the pros and cons of each, and which you prefer. I plan on using an aspire nautilus wit a bvc on top. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you, and that's why this review won me over; he has the same setup as us currently, MVP+Nautilus mini (unless you mean the big boy, which might be a tad large for it, but I saw someone just now on the big istick thread say that they do it and loves the combo.)

I do think waiting would be smart, since it's untested...but I preordered my istick last night since I really want something smaller to try out. There are a lot of new youtube reviews of it- I think it's the best way to push you either way.

IMO you will love the istick...as well as the MVP. I've been rotating the two for the last three days...still haven't had to charge my istick. To me they are both great devices worth the small price tag. The only thing the istick doesn't have, that the MVP does, is proof of longevity...yet. I know if you buy your istick from the Eleaf website, it comes with a 6 month warranty. If I get 6 months out of mine, that was $30 well spent!

I can't find on the eleaf site where the warranty is 6 months so I bought one from another vendor because of the savings. The only page I found states warranty is for 90 days, maybe I'll wait before buying my third one! Its still a good deal though I love the MVP 2 as well. I figure both will last longer alternating their use. Warranty Terms

I am out and about most of the day. I work outdoors. Lots of bending, stooping, twisting in all kinds of weather. The Istick slides in a jeans pocket and is almost unnoticeable. Doesn't hang out or try to rupture me when I bend over or climb in the car. It is the ONLY mod I can say that about.

VV3's, MVP's, twists, SIDS, egos, and a Sigelei 20W all hang out or are otherwise a pita. I have them all.

I have been using Kayfun Lite+'s at 1.5-2.5 ohms at around 11 watts. The appearance suits me fine and I rarely get a chance to impress anyone else.
The Istick is just what I have been frantically looking for so I got 2. I'm good to go.

Honestly Donna, that was information that I received from two members on ECF. They are credible members, but I don't know how the warrant came about...perhaps they emailed Eleaf with that concern. I myself bought mine off EBay. So far...zero regrets!

I have seen the same posts about the 6 months and maybe it has changed, I don't doubt some were told that by eleaf. Maybe the policy has changed with sales so good, it was time to "get formal" with the warranty.

We have nothing to show for the 150. a week spent on cigs and will not complain about a dead battery in 6 months though with MVP's, itaste VV/VW 3 , and EVODs still in use, I expect the life of all to be longer. Just when I think we're all set, I read about another type I just have to try!

The 6 month warranty was on the Eleaf site on the ismoke product page.

I wonder why they pulled it.

I also haven't seen any proof of step-down on the istick.

As far as the MVP3, it won't be for a while. Get the v2 for $39 in the meantime. The v3 won't be $39.
The SVD 2.0 is already past it's expected ready date.
