So I went to the first day of Vapefest DC--amazing on many levels--and, as i was browsing the many vendors, a little red-and-black Provari Mini sitting on a vendor's display started demanding loudly to be taken home with me to keep company with my black Mini--and now there are two! Too bad they don't mate lol. My wallet is emptier, but I asm very happy. If I ever figure out how to put pictures on the forum, I'll send one along.

Gotta love Vape meets. what a great way for us and our money to part company....

If I had not driven 5 hours to a vape meet to shake the hand of Pbusardo:

1. I would still be blissfully ignorant of the ProVari, engaging PoM and Edd in spirited debate on how the MVP is the perfect mod and the ProVari is an overpriced under performing battery tube.

2. I would not have found a way to part with nearly 600 dollars in a month and somehow "adopted" 3 ProVari's into my stable.

3. I would not be an unending source of entertainment to PoM and other Provarinati members as they daily watch me eat crow when I say I'm not going to buy a second one, or I would need to be delusional to buy a third.

4. I would not be looking at my MVP's with that inevitable disappointment that try as they might they just can't give me that satisfaction that the ProVari gives me. And while I publically state that I will always have a use for my MVP's I actively find ways NOT to use them (like buying a micro USB charger for my 18650's).

Ah yes....

I should have just sent pbusardo an email and left it at that.......

It is funny seeing a ProVari hater turn into a ProVari hoarder. I am here to help you, though...send me one of those ProVari, and let me save you from becoming a hoarder!

Seriously, though, never thought I would ever need more than one...but after a few weeks of having one, my OCD kicks in, and the thoughts of "what if" the unthinkable happens, and I would have to ever send mine in for service...I couldn't go back to a kicked mech mod...and I'm now spoiled! I need a backup!

I made fun of my buddy at work for vaping, I was still on the analogs. I specifically joked about how huge his Provari mini was. Then I bought a two pack of eComs from Joyetech for me and the wife. That was a month ago and I haven't had a log since. Next thing I know I'm trying my buddies Provari mini at work and couldn't believe how much better it performed and tasted over my eCom. That night I made my order online and now I'm waiting impatiently for it to show up. Get here already!

To be fair, I wouldn't consider the old opus to be a hater, per se..

When push came to shove, he did seem to show some respect to the ProVari..

Vocal, yes.. but not a true hater...

I can't say the same for some others, though...

He always stated that it was on a short list of mods to get. But he did have a list of about ten things that he hated about the ProVari. I've watched in some amusement as the list has gotten shorter and shorter. I think there's probably about three things on the list now, and he'd probably have to look up the old "things I hate about the ProVari thread" to figure out which ones he wanted to keep on that list.

p.opus has become a Provarinati poster boy. :D A prospect that I'm sure would have filled him with dismay 2 or 3 months ago. It's not that Edd and I hate various other mods, it's that we don't like to see people throw money away on something that we know will disappoint in the long run. We know that the ProVari's unique design and interface was created that way for a specific reason. Some people have to hold one before they "get it."

I am reminded of John 20:29...
Jesus said to him, “Now that you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me and have believed.”

My comment was tongue-in-cheek, with no disrespect meant. It's cool seeing his enthusiasm for the product now, and I'm glad that he is part of the family. Very cool and knowledgeable guy

When I was grumbling recently about preparing for the Vapeocalypse to my husband, who neither smokes now (he used to smoke a pipe) nor vapes, and wondering whether to get a second Provari or a Reo, I was stunned to hear him say: "Get both"! I was so amazed that I surprised him with an e-pipe.

It's great that we have very supportive spouses when it comes to vaping. At the end of the day, I am sure they would rather we dump a couple hundred $ on new mods than cigarettes. And to put it in perspective, our lifetime vaping budgets would be nothing compared to one weeks medical bills resulting from continuing to smoke...

I am soon to be a member of the polygamist ProVarinati soon....I bought a chrome ProVari off of the classies, so I will finally have the peace of mind of having a backup (yes they are built great, but without a backup, the chances of me dropping my "only" ProVari out of my pocket when not paying attention and running it over, or something that causes me to be without backup).... I consider warranty/extended warranty my insurance against the bad luck of the draw in having a component fail (ProVape doesn't make the chips, or the resistors/caps on board!)...and my backup insurance against me doing something that leaves me provariless for any period of time.

I bet I got the brother to yours . I picked up the brushed silver mini on Saturday while there.
