I made the switch to vaping November 2011 and never looked back. I feel very blessed that the switch it self was very easy for me. Even tho I am only 34 I believe that vaping has saved my life. I had really bad asthma with 5-10 attacks a day. Nights were always the worse. Tthe last couple of months I smoked I would wake up not being able to breath or get my asthma in control. And was even Hospitalized last year for 3 days. Now I have maybe 1-2 light attacks a week. And I can even run where before I would be out of breath from walking. I am happier; yes I believe that the chemicals in cigs were depressing me. I have money to spend. And even if an emergency tapps me out monetarily I don't have that panicky feeling I had when I smoked. The cig addiction was like hell. I have for them most part until recently been on the poorer side. And I would choose to buy cigs over food. Even buy cigs over putting gas in my car. Some don't know just how real and horrible the addiction to cigarettes can be. They do not publicize it as they do with some illegal drugs. Because tobacco is legal, people look the other way.
Now that I have been vaping a huge weight has been lifted. I do not "have to" vape, the way I had to smoke. And in fact, I have vaped on and off. Most of the time I just don't because I don't feel like it. If I am being social or drinking I vape. And when I get a new toy like now.
I vape more often. But the point being that it's just for fun now. And I am truly free of the cig addiction.
I love the fact that I can breath now. I love the fact that I finally feel from from the oppression of addiction. I love that I don't stink. And I love how much money I save. Since vaping I am a completely different more upbeat person. I even think it hand a hand in my moving into the middle class. And while I know not everyone can say that about vaping, I still think it is worth while to give vaping a try. Why not? What do you have to loose? The way I look at it you may just change your life for the better, even if it is just that you quit the stinkys. That is a huge feat in itself.
