I'm just sitting here reading ECF, vaping away and all of the sudden I get a check atomizer message. Ok, I check the atomizer, posts screws are tight, coil is where it should be, hmmm. I try another atty, same deal, then I try something with a factory coil. Check Atomizer. SOB. I didn't drop it, knock it, or anything.

I pulled the battery, let it sit, turned it on and off, nothing. Anybody have any suggestions? I just got this baby out of the classies and was really, really enjoying it. Suddenly starting to regret giving away that MVP 3...

EDIT; Ok, scratch the sky is falling tone above. It started working again but now the ohm reading is jumping around like crazy, like as much as .8 or .9. I've definitely got a 510 problem of some sort... Crap.

Well it looks like I might be back in business. I didn't ever get around to cleaning the 510, just picked it up today, screwed on an atty and it took off. The same Atomic I was using when the issue first started. The resistance jumped around for a second or two but seems to have settled at .5, right where it's supposed to be. I'm still going to give it a cleaning, but I have pretty much lost faith in the device as a whole. Hopefully it'll continue working as it should.

The resistance jumped up twice on me over the last couple months giving me a good taste of the devils dirty bits. Both times in the same day. I just figured it was my fault.

A few minutes maintaining and keeping everything in good condition is worth a thousand mods.

Both reports sound like simple fixes that are normal care and not an indication of a sub par mod.

My IPV3 did same thing randomly until the 510 connection popped out. I secured with epoxy and it would not stop jumping. Then I found the positive pin on these is horribly insulated. Many have converted to the Fat Daddy 510's which is what I plan to do also. If you get the tank secured in just the right spot you may be ok for now. But once you remove and screw the tank on again you may or may not be so lucky. Nothing like having your voltage jump from 3.6 to 4.8 and getting a cloud of burnt cotton to the throat.

Construction is completely different on the Mini2
