Was just sitting at my desk working on a new dripper build when my istick 50 watt just started firing. I had my Delta II tank on it, wasn't touching it at all, was like 2 or 3 feet away from me. It fired for the full 10 seconds, wouldn't react to any button presses, even the 5 click to turn it off. I got the tank unscrewed right around the end of the 10 second cutoff, but I think it continued to try to fire even after the atty was removed. The 10 second cutoff did work, and it gave me the over 10 seconds indication. I continued to try to turn it off, then it tried to fire itself again, and the no atomizer indicator kept coming up... then it turned itself off. Anybody else had this issue?! Until this happened I was really into this mod, loving the power, battery capacity, and size... but this is pretty sketchy.

I already contacted the vendor, hopefully they'll exchange it... I'm debating if I should just get another of the same device, or get a different mod. I guess it's a good sign that I can't seem to find anyone else having this issue, hopefully it's just a single faulty device, not an indication of a overall quality control problem. Because I really do like it, it's a perfect balance of size, battery life, and power.

Mine is also being returned for exchange. It has a nasty habit of randomly switching modes from wattage to voltage. This, coupled with an intermittent fire switch just about turned me off from this mod. However, I love the form factor, simplicity and fantastic (3 days vaping 1.1 ohm at 11.5W) battery life so I'm going the exchange route. No problem with the vendor since I've had it less than a week.

I've purchased eight for friends and family since they've come out and today my first black istick 50 watt fired by itself. Did again about 15 minutes later. This my ECF friends sucks! Worst part is it only three weeks old.
