I'm not sure how many other Italian members we have, but Smo is located in Italy... (I just messaged him and am waiting for a response)

Over 70 dead, 1,500 injured in central Italy quake

Please, everyone pray or send positive thoughts for the people of Italy and especially for our Italian members.

My mother was from that area, actually 25 miles south (Avezzano) it is a very beautiful part of Italy and my heart goes out to everyone there. I'm praying for the victims and their families.

Smo and his family are OK. They are 500 kilometers from the epicenter.

He and some friends will be traveling there to help out in a few days. (I don't think he had time to check the forum or see the thread, yet)

This is absolutely terrible news. My condolences and prayers go out to all the families hurt by this earthquake.

I want to thank all of you for your concerns and for being close to us in this situation.

We are all OK on my side because we are over 100Km from the epicenter but we feel very close to all the families involved in this earthquake. My family experienced a previous earthquake and i can assure it's one of the worst situation one can be involved into. Sadly to say it take years to build something and sometimes it needs just a matter of seconds to loose it.

Raven, you were even closer than Smo. Thank God both of you and your families are safe, and may you both stay safe. If there is a website that either of you are aware of that is already working in the disaster area that is taking contributions for the victims, please post a link for us to contribute. Or if we can help either of you to get supplies to the victims please let us know how we might help.
