I just heard back from Rosco, he sends his love to everyone for wanting to help him out with his Buzz, but he says he's doing fine with his box mod. He said the best thing we can do is pray for the people in the area and all the rescue personnel. One of their volunteer cops was struck by lightening today, he's alive but hurt :(

Wharf, Rosco said he may not have time to answer your email but tell you know he is grateful for your generous offer. I told him we're all here to help if he changes his mind.

Mike, he got your email and is going to soak his Buzz overnight in alcohol and see if that helps.

Thanks Rup !!! he just got back to me and he's doing OK. Look's like the alcohol bath has worked and his beloved Buzz is back up and firing. Bov might have additional info and if I hear anything else I'll let you know.

I know the Army always does, keep him and everyone affected in our hearts and prayers. There's another big storm coming with potential for more tornados.

That tornado in Joplin....Dang....I'm deeply saddened by the loss of life and property there..

Rosco...My hats off too you Bro...When the going gets tough....Thanks for helping those people..

Bovina...You're a kind and considerate lady..Thanks for helping Rosco!!!

Down here in Dixie it's been a rough spring...I've managed too get by only losing one tree and several million limbs...Once again I've a huge pile of limbs drying out too burn..I consider myself very lucky...My dear Aunt's house for the most part is repaired...Her neighborhood was once beautiful and is now a wasteland...Once very nice homes sit by the roadside in piles awaiting pick up..Yesterday the NWS urged us too prepare for what they say will be a very active hurricane season...Warmer than normal temps in the Gulf have led too these tornadoes and will spawn hurricanes as well according too the NWS...Great..............

I live 30 minutes from Reading, KS. The storm built over top of us but we missed it. It hit Emporia which is just 18 miles from me. 2 tornadoes touched down just north about 4 miles from Emporia. Sirens were going off like crazy.

Reading had 1 comfirmed death. Man was in a mobile home that was tossed by the twister.

75% of Joplin, MO was wiped out. People were only given minutes of warning before it touched down.

Prayers to family members of those who lost their lives and to those who were hurt or lost everything to these horrific storms.

Rosco, please stay safe.

Batten down the hatches LD and be safe my friend.

It's terrible but the earth is fighting back I guess at everything we have done to her. I pray that everyone down in the area sustains no more and for those that have already lost so much.

A rough year weather-wise, so far, no signs of getting much better...
My heart hurts for all those who have been devestated by these horrific storms, tornadoes, flooding. It swells with pride to see the response of so many good people, here at ECF/NotCigs and the "real" world trying to help any way that they can.
Very glad that the storm missed you, Hairball. It was so close...And Rosco, thoughts and prayers for you and all that are able to be there to help those that need it so much right now.

Wharf, thank you for passing along the info from Rosco this morning! The second alcohol soaking seems to have fixed his Buzz and he is using it again with no problems so far! He sends his love to everyone and is greatly touched by all the offers to send him PVs, juice and cartos.

And I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for responding with such compassion and generosity! You all are the best of the best :)

Hey all...this place feels like home.
I'm about 75 miles east of Joplin for the night. Picking up some communication equipment that's been donated and too tired to drive back, so I checked in to a motel and now have access to internet with no restrictions. Feels strange after days with no access.

I'd like to thank each of you for your support and concern. I am so grateful to have such great friends here. Even tho I was able to get along and make do without my Buzz for a few days(it sucked really), it was great to know that all I had to do was make a call or leave a note. You all are the "bestest".

There is nothing like helping someone else to help you get "centered". I am used to living in nightmares, but to see so many others that have not - and now are - is painful. No matter what we are doing, I feel so helpless here. Sure, we have found several trapped/buried folks and for that we all are most grateful. But all one has to do is open their eyes....and the nightmare becomes real, again, day after day.
I may get to go home this weekend for a few - and I may not. It depends on what relief teams materialize.

An overnight alcohol soak on my Buzz resolved my problem. I sure am glad Mike sent me that email.:thumb: Thanks Mike.

Keep me on that list for a Buzz Pro Mike. I want another Buzz around so I don't have to go without one again. I've had a few chats with people about what I'm doing when they see me vaping. Many are clueless - totally clueless to this option for smokers.

I'm dead assed tired and am nodding off here...but I want to again express my gratitude to Bovinia ,Wharf Rat, 5Card, Ruppy, and whomever I've forgotten, for your offers to help me out =All of you really.

When I heard that Wharf said " Remind him we never leave a Buzz soldier behind, that really hit me. I have lived those words most of my life now. It really means a lot to me...and to all of you for your support, offers to help, and your prayers. Those prayers......

I humbly ask those so inclined to please continue your prayers for all the tornado victims - everywhere. Becoming homeless/possessionless and unemployed in 9 minutes changes you.

Lastly - regarding our customer service man. When you are contacted and told "I'll take care of you" or "I'll get it fixed for you", you just stop worrying. I can't afford that kind of service - but then I remember I don't have to worry.

Thank you Mike. You done good - ya'll done me real good.:thumb:

Right on Roscoe and it's so Damned good to hear from you and that your doing okay. Just remember that I have stuff if you need something. I have many Fusions too so if the need arises just ask. I got other cartos too and juice although I don't know if you would like my flavors but anyway my friend if you go without it's just because you didn't let me know. Hang in there and my prayers are on going.
