I was wondering about that, too. I wanted one of these when they came out but was discouraged when I heard of the charging port being so delicate.

Yup hopefully it's fixed. If so I see a blue one in my future heh. I'll never use it to charge stuff though, that's a bell and whistle I don't need. Well maybe in an emergency.

It was briefly mentioned in another thread that they may have updated the battery connector on the mvp so it doesn't break easily. Anyone else heard this? I was thinking about getting the mvp for out and about so I can leave the provari and ea at home.

I got the MVP for the same reason as you...so i can leave my Provari's at home. It's basically my "take to work" mod. I just got it 4 days ago and i finally got to charge it. I haven't experienced any problems with the battery connector or charging port.

That's awesome. I'm going to wait for a good sale on one and snag it up.

I purchase my Blue MVP about three weeks ago, with the new ego threading on it, and, I believe, the stronger USB connector.

This device has NO ohm reader, doesn't tell you remaining battery life in volts, can't vape higher then 5 volts, has a stupid "Puff Counter" that's absolutely useless, no ability to set watts, no replaceable batteries....

...and I love it!

Charge this sucker overnight, and it has lasted me THREE DAYS, when I've allowed to to finally go dead. At 4.5-4.7 v, it puts out more then enough vape for my tastes, and it puts out the same vape on the first vape after a charge, until the last vape right before it finally dies!

Solid metal construction, easy to press flush button that's never fired by mistake, yet slim enough to fit in my shirt pocket!

As for the Battery Bank feature, I'll never use it, well... until I do!

My family goes to amusement parks all of the time here in So. California, and the ability to simply carry along a USB cable, and recharge one or more of our phones off of my MVP, when they finally die come evening time, after a full day at the park, sounds like a real bonus to me! With the amount of battery life this sucker has, I honestly won't be too concerned if I use some of the stored juice to increase my cell phone's life for the day!

Oh... and being able to recharge in my car, with a standard Micro USB charger that's already stored in my car, for my cell phone is great!

Last bonus... if you're new to vaping, no need to purchase rechargeable batteries and a charger! Believe me, I'll be on to my next mod long before these batteries give out!
