I in no way hold this against innokin, just a cautionary tale.
Last week or 2, when I plugged in my MVP2 to charge, it didn't blink or light up per usual. After a few minutes, it was glowing but not blinking. I unplugged it, light stayed on. Thought "weird" and left it plugged in to my computer.
A couple of hours later my wife smells burning, goes over to my computer and the usb micro connector is so hot it's glowing red. She unplugged it, the cable was melted a bit at the end, and the MVP2 is dead to me.
I bought another, not seeing anything comparable without several times the cost.
takeaway: if the lights are acting weird, you may have broken something inside or gotten it wet or something, if you do charge, keep an eye on it, no one wants a house fire! This is probably good advice for any electronic, not specific to the MVP because it's cheap or any such. Everything can fail.
