Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums, but I'm an experienced vapor user. I just got the Itaste SVD a few weeks ago and it's been working great until recently. I am using a Samsung ICR 18650 2600 battery, and an Iclear 30 tank. Sometimes I push the button and it does an amazing draw. Other times I push it and nothing happens. Other times I push it and it turns green and then halfway through a draw, it remains green, but misfires (no vaping noise) and also other times I"ll hold the button and it turns green and misfires and I keep holding it and it just shuts off and I have to turn it back on. Now I have no idea if all of these issues are related to one problem, but I can't seem to figure out what is going on. Has this happened to anyone else?

i had the svd for about 6 months and all of a sudden the fire button would stick and would just keep firing.... after a little bit i took it apart and noticed that there was juice in between the button and the contact. So after cleaning it, i put it back together and it seemed to work for about a day or so and then went right back to constant firing.. Lets just say its been collecting dust since that day. unfortunately needless to say i never found a fix.

Well it doesn't necessarily stick it just turns green but doesn't produce vapor, almost like the cartomizer isn't registering that it's touching the heating coil. But I had read some things but couldn't find my exact problem in the forums. Similar problems but most everyone else's is the Red button problem or the 888 problem. I will try to take it apart, and see if I can fix it, but needless to say I don't make a lot of money I get by comfortably but I've had 4 mod vapes break in the last 5 months and it's eating a hole in my wallet and if this one breaks I just wanna quit altogether lol, I love vaping but can't afford them to keep breaking

it can definitely be a bit pricy if you have to keep re-buying mods, i totally understand that. have you looked into mechanical at all? there so simple that they pretty much can't break and all you'd have to really worry about is what tank your using. also try to take a little flathead and pull out the pin a tad on the clear 30, maybe the problem is just that it isn't making contact.

I'm unsure of its if protected or not it's the Samsung icr 18650 2600. Bought it from my local shop would you know?

Is that a protected battery? If so.. There is your problem.. You need unprotected batteries.

Could still be a button issue though.. My SVD finally crapped out.. the button...

I had to exchange one for the same reason. If you go to the Innokin site and let them know and it is an original with the box they will exchange it for you. They have a US service center that was great to work with and the shipping was fast.

That being said it sounds like the pin may be compressed. If you have a small screwdriver "tweak" the 510 pin up a little and see if that helps with the intermittent hits. If the light is still green and you're not getting vapor it may not be making good contact.

And here is where I jinx myself. The replacement is doing well.
