SO. After all your assistance I ended up getting the Itaste VTR as well as the Iclear30s and the Aspire nautilus clearomizers.

Are there specific settings that anyone is using that they've noticed really maximize the flavor output?

Right now I'm running a 70/30 mix of VG/PG. I got the RY4 flavor and a mint gum tobacco flavor. After trying my buddies fruit flavors I'm regretting not getting the 10ml bottles and more flavors.

ALSO is anyone removing the juice from their clearomizers to swap out juices?

Much appreciate all the help that is bound to come!!!

Hey Brooksie.

I'm using an MVP 2 not a VTR but I have found while using my Davide with a 2.0 Ohm aspire dual bottom coil my sweet spot seems to be between 8-9 watts or 4.1-4.2 volts with the juice I use the most. Start at the bottom and bump up the watts or voltage until you find the setting that you like. That's how you bond with your new device. ;)

As far as cleaning out clearomizers for a change of juice goes, I do unless I am experimenting. I found that watermelon and blueberry mix well according to my taste buds. If I am not in the mood to mix flavors then I strip down the clearo and blast it all with hot water including the coil. My Iclear30 (no letter prefix) and my vivi nova both use top coils with the long wicks and with those I keep them under hot water until the wicks seem clear of juice. I blow the coils out after I rinse them.

If you don't feel like cleaning anything you can just dump out your remaining juice and pour in the new stuff. You'll probably taste the old juice as well as the new one for a little while but eventually will dissipate.

I'm loving my VTR so far.. I've only had it a week now. I had a MVP v1 and that broke months ago to I had a Vamo v1 and v1 lava tube as back ups. I was going to replace the MVP right away but this was before v2 came out and I waited.. Good thing too because when I was ready to buy a new mod because my Vamo is now in the trash I came across the VTR and said that's it.. No reviews nothing just the look. I like mods I can keep in my back pocket at work and love box mod styles, the VTR with the stealth tank sold it for me. Now I'm in love with the iClear 30s. At first I wasn't when I looked up the coil cost compared the Protank 2 coils and the fact that I just received 5 packs of coils for them I figured this iClear will get tossed... Hell no! these things are great! Awesome flavor and vap.. Im changing over.

I hope you enjoy the VTR, Im sure youre gonna love it. Ive had mine now for a few weeks and its been great.

As far as wattage and volts go, I like to stay in wattage mode due to all the different ohm coils my tanks have. Start at a lower wattage and work your way up. Evereyones sweetspot will depend both on the juice, mixture and personal preference.

I just got my VTR - and love it, by the way - though power settings depend on many things regardless of what kind of VV/VW mod you're using. I love Kayfuns, so they're almost always in use in whichever mod I'm using. I prefer single coil builds around 1.5-1.8 ohms and most of my juice is 50/50, so I've found that somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-13 watts works best for me. However, if I decide to throw on something like a Protank 2, I can't keep the wattage anywhere near that high or I'll end up with a burnt taste. My iClear30s' seem to be able to tolerate a slightly higher wattage, so I adjust for the best flavor/vapor production.

As for changing juices, I've finally accumulated enough tanks that each one is pretty much dedicated to a certain flavor mix. But when I used to use the same tank for different flavors, I'd usually just rinse the entire tank and coil out with plenty of warm water, add a new juice, and prime it well before using. The flavor from the old juice tended to linger a bit, especially on the iClear30s coils since they are harder to give the wicks a good washing, but it would disappear after refilling once or twice.

What set up do you have ? I have found that if I get a burnt taste on my kayfun vtr setup, it's usually a problem with my cotton wick or rather not enough. The reason why I say that is is because when I rewick with slightly more cotton no matter what wattage I run I never get a burnt taste even at 15 watts. Also I can run the same wick for at least 3 weeks. Flavor drops off slightly but no burnt taste. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I wasn't looking at your earlier post with reference to iclear30s and Nautilus. I only used my iclear30s for about a day then my new vtr received the dremel cut. But from what I remember I used 100% vg and was running between 12-15 watts (I prefer warmer vapes ). I never got a burnt taste from that tank in that power range. Same goes for the Nautilus which I ran and currently run both 100% vg as well as 50/50 mix. Flavor is quite good for the Nautilus although of course not on par with kayfun. As a side note, for some reason the Nautilus has a slightly more noticeable TH than the kayfun with the same juices at same power level.

I use the iClear x.l on my vtr quite a bit because it's glass and I like the cinnamon flavors.. and I prefer the rotating tip.
I was using Protank 3's but i kept hitting myself in the face.. rotating tips help that a lot.

I switch out a few different flavors and what I usually do is drop to about 8 watts to try it.. then increase till I get the flavor I like best.
Seems like 10 watts is often the magic number for the stuff I vape.. watts will vary with the juice you use.

Basically.. I just increase till it burns and back it off till it's good.
Over time you kinda remember what setting for different juices.
