I am not familiar with the menu on the vv v3, but is there an option in the menu where you tell it what to display on the screen when you press the fire button?
If so and if it can be set to display resistance, then either it will show the resistance with that setting or else it will show NON.

No. To see the resistance with a vv3, you press both bottom buttons at once, and the first number is the resistance -- or NON in this case.

It's defective; you need to return it for a replacement.

In my personal experience, innokin has some good products but the ohm reader function on all of the different ones I have had are inaccurate or intermittent. I am one of those that doesn't care as long as it vapes but I also keep a multimeter on hand anyway. If it is a newer unit then those companies are usually pretty good about returns. If an accurate ohms reader is important, my advice would be to contact your vendor or the manufacturer.

Thing is using the MVP in wattage mode it is important that the device is reading the resistance correctly. I would always send something back if it wasn't working correctly on receipt.

Anyway, seems like this is an older thread and the OP got a replacement device - I love a happy ending...
