Alright so I've started a project because my original housing for my itaste vv was starting to fall apart and it was just a matter of time before a wire came disconnected. So I've replaced it was a different VV device. Now I've been kinda curious about making my own box mod as I've seen many made and figured it should be simple if i just convert everything from my Itaste into a box.
For the shell of the mod I am using an old burnt out light ballast made out of steel. I gutted the inside of the ballast and started to take the Itaste apart. So far I have everything fitting really well just not sure if i can change the battery. If i change the battery size will the screen, ohms reader etc still work and will it be safe? There is a lot of open space inside so I'm wondering if I could put two 14550 batteries idk trying to get the most out of it. I plan once i get all the wires soldered and in place inside of the shell to get a hot glue gun and secure everything with that.
