Itchy,sore throat will more VG help?

Boyfriend and me started vaping on New Year. I purchased a ejuice from Gourmet Vapor for my boyfriend. Marlburro Red, 24mg, triple flavor, 80%PG/20%VG. He likes it, when almost finishing that bottle he requested to get it from the same supplier same flavor and nic. So I got him another 30ml bottle. He still likes the taste but as he vapes it more now, he feels he has a itchy and sore throat. I gotten him other marl flavor from other supplier (70%/30% pg/vg) and he doesn't like the flavor as much, but he said it makes his throat feel better though. Now the question is I still have that new 30ml bottle I orginally purchased for him from gourmet vapor. Can I buy VG like this one, and just add a few drops to his flavor? Will that help soothe his throat abit? If you do suggest trying that, do I just add a few drops into the orginal flavor?

Soar throat goes away after a time. Some people think its the Nic or too much PG (both are irritants). You can go higher VG in your ratio, it definately makes the juice hit super soft. You can pump up the volts to get your throat hit back up, or add a little Everclear to the mix. But I've found, that as more time goes by, its easier to vape just about anything and not get a soar throat like I used too. Start out slow and work up to the hard hitting Pure PG, High Nic stuff. Or pump the volts up on VG heavy mixes and stay hydrated.

Sorry for noobie question, where can i get everclear and what that is?

Everclear is pure grain alcohol that can be found in liquor stores, I believe it's 190 proof. I've also heard others suggest Vodka, high alcohol content.

Oh, thanks. My boyfriend has allergy reaction to alcohol, so i guess I use VG..
