Hi guys, Im fairly new to vaping. Current setup us ipv d2 with smok temp control top part. I am a Smoker trying to quit.

So heres my problem. Sometimes when I inhale i hear the pop from the liquid. It seems like unburned liquid and then i gets to my throat which makes it itchy and i cough. If there isnt this popping action then i an completely fine.
Are my setting wrong? Im sure its liquid that hasnt turned into vapor causing this problem.

I found when this happens on my gear I most likely need to turn up the wattage so I'm vaporizing the liquid and not boiling it
I dont have watt mode with this top part lol. But i lowered the joules and less boiling. Thanks. I thought it wasnt turning the liquid to vapor but instead it was boiling. Thanks!

That's called spitback, happens when your RTA/RDA is flooded with Juice. Turn up the watts when that happens and wait until you get the feeling that your hit is about to get dry, then turn it back down again.
