Mine is leaking just like the original posters.
I also have old center nut. I looked at the pics of the new vs old one. Does the new one cover the holes at the bottom of the Ithaka rebuildable part? Should I try to turn the old nut 90 degrees? Will get a new one but just curious what the difference is.

Try a basic configuration:

Center post top nut in closed position (it should cover the holes inside ceramic).
Basic feeding system in closed position.

New nut is shorter than the old one and it does not cover the holes at the bottom of the ceramic / rebuildable part, the new nut is designed to prevent gurgling: as the old nut is longer, it will be closer to the coil / wick, so some little drops of liquid can "jump" and enter inside the air intake (center post) causing a small gurgling, or some liquid (a drop for example) could stay on wick (like making a bridge), between the wick and the top nut.

I have noticed that by leaving the basic feeding control open in both channels could cause leaking and gurgling too, when using thin wicks. So always is better to start with a basic configuration and then start playing with all the options / features that Ithaka provides.

For example, make a basic configuration, try it, vape, enjoy it, then open basic feeding in both channels and see how it performs, if it start to leak (when refilling for example), you will know that maybe it is due the wicks are too thin, and so on...

This sometime happen with older center post, but I Learn to
Eliminate it very fast,as I prefer old center post.
What I do if it happen is:
Close juice control
Disconnect Ithaka from mod
Blow via MP while hold paper towel below.

That's it,connect again and vape.
Very simple and fast to do.

Now this can be avoided most of the time if one don't push the fire botton
Long befor inhale.
Becouse when pushing the fire button vapor is generate and if not inhaling all
Then it's loaded more and more in the atty chamber and avantualy getting to the center post.
It's not a big issue if you do what I describe very fast to get rid of this gurgling.

Hi Imeo just had my just gg ss for several weeks now loving every moment. I'm having the same issues time to time with my ithaka that I purchased from vape rev in california. I asked about the center post top nut, now just waiting for the response. What do I do to get that piece if I never received it? I figured I did pay 200 dollars for it, they should have it right? Best mod and tanks, thank you for all your efforts , big fan :)
