Ithaka Leaking Through Centre Pin.

Hi everyone,

Just a small problem with my new Ithaka. It seems to be leaking from the centre post consistently. Only a very small amount but it's there. By that I mean vape for 5 minutes, remove Ithaka, bit of juice in my new Provari :(

The wicks are trimmed so as not to protrude past the o-ring
juice control is shut completely
Basic feeding was shut initially so thought I best open up to full. Still the same.
No gurgling now I'm used to using the Ithaka, but I do suck with no button pressed every now and then to make sure it doesn't return.
I'm on my first coil and wick which shipped with the Ithaka. Single coil/dual wick as per Imeo's video.
I remove top cop second cap when filling, then screw them on seperately as per instructions.
I have tried unscrewing top cap to release pressure. The juice gurgles in the tank a little but still hasn't stopped the leak.

Scratching my head now. And of course the Provari is starting to fall out with me lol.

The last thing I can think of to try would be to see if the Ithaka shipped with the holes at the bottom of the ceramic aligned, thus opening up the secondary tank. But from reading the many many many many....pages of the Ithaka thread, this thing should not be leaking regardless.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Exactly the same problem here too.

I've tried absolutely everything I can think of; basic feeding closed/open/half, ceramic holes aligned or blocked, added an o-ring to basic feeding part (mine didn't ship with one), raised the basic feeding part higher, vaseline on o-rings... nothing seems to help, a small amount of juice is still escaping through the centre post after a few minutes of vaping and causing it to gurgle.

The annoying thing is that I can't understand where this juice is coming from, neither the ceramic or secondary tank appear to have flooded. The next time I rebuild it I'm going to try to pin down whether it's actually coming through the hole of the centre post or down the side which should narrow down the cause.

I'm determined to find a solution as for those few minutes before it starts to gurgle Ithaka is simply stunning.
