Nice! I used to do similar thing on RDAs. Leave a gap on the micro coil to make a cotton drop in the middle as well as the tails. However, once I changed to overlapping cotton, I didn't need the gap. Basically take the tails and wrap over the coil and drop them to the opposite side. Exactly same as using a flavor wick on top of the coil but more convenient since it is a single piece of cotton. Flavor from that is amazing.

Do you get dry hits with that much cotton in the well? If I stuff that much cotton, I would definitely get a dry hit.

Yes one dry hit I refilled the tank and didn't open the juice control lol but no dry hits otherwise.
