Sitting in the hotel almost ready to go out for the day.

Trying to decide which woodvil to take out with me ....... Well its already begun .......

Been cranking the VV Woodvil at a higher wattage than I can active with 1.5Ω and a full charge AW IMR

So now the decision is easy VV REO ..... but my old trusty 18650 woodvils are seeming a little weak :(

That sucks, Ya I know I can go 5v or 6v but the convenience of a single 18650 is great.

Cisco ..... I need me a 1.3Ω bridgless 306 ..... Please.

Would the two 18350 batts in the vv last longer than an 18650 in a non vv with everything else being equal (atty, juice, vape style, etc.)?

I don't believe so. If I understand correctly, connecting batteries in series only increases volts, not mAh.

Connecting in parallel increases capacity but not volts. (At least that is what I got from Battery U)

Yes .... Yes ..... Yes ..... The two batteries last much longer than the single 18650 in my own experience.

You have to remember that you now have over 8 volts on a fresh set to delver you 4 volt vape.

Actually if I remember right the Woodvil with a 4.18 fresh AW IMR and a 1.5 cisco would give me 3.65 volts under load.
(again going by memory from along time ago)

I'm pretty sure if I set the VV for 3.65 under load with the same cisco 1.5 I could get a couple days.
I couldn't get a full day with an 18650 without serious drop off !!!

There is no drop off with the VV, you just use those 8 volts combined until they can no longer produce the voltage you have it set for. Or until the protection kicks in .... I'm not an expert.

But in real world Big Hitter usage, as I said in a previous thread.
"The pair of AW 18350s last a freaking loooonnnggg time!"

Well let me back track ... I guess first I would need to know at what voltage you pull your 18650 out of the mod no longer satisfied with the vape.

For me once they hit 3.8 volts I'm getting bummed out.

I'l do some test with how many ml of juice I can get through on both the VV and the standard woodvil with the same atty and juice.

Just guessing I'm thinking they are lasting me 2.5 to 3X longer on the VV
Again because there is just no drop off in voltage ... just constant awesome vape.

I should have said one AW IMR 18650-1600 on a non-vv vs. two AW IMR 18350-700 on a vv. If I could get 1.5 to 2X longer, then I would be a mighty happy camper. 3.8v is a little early for me. I usually swap about 3.6. With your knack for testing things, I'm sure whatever the outcome, it'll be pretty close to accurate. After all those vv Woodvils get out into everyone's hands, The feedback chatter is going to be interesting.
