Was a 3PAD myself and was done by my fourth day.

I still am sorta in shock that this has been this painless and I still do have my momentary "heading out the door, pat my shirt pocket to check and see if I have smokes" moment, but that has largely been replaced with the ritual of making sure I have a charged battery, filled clearo's etc.

I think I actually ENJOY the rituals associated with this habit as they appeal to the geeky/tech side of me. I used to roll my own and THAT was a ritual while watching television before bed..."make tomorrow's cigarettes". Now I fiddle with making my own juices, keeping all my clearo's organized as far as what they contain and am going to start rebuilding soon.

Good stuff (oh and congrats btw)

I've got the same set up as you.
34 days ago I tossed the real cigs in the trash.
This stuff is better tasting, safer for you, and I've never had withdrawals.
When I need a nic hit, I vape some great flavors and I am good to go.
Also I don't stink like a filthy ashtray.

You're still two days ahead of me!!!

It really is amazing how successful this can be. You know if we make it 20 months without a cigarette, we've successfully beaten the record of 95% of people who try to quit using patches and gum etc and went back onto cigs in that time? That's a target I absolutely want to beat!

Congratulations to all and keep it up! I guess Santa came a little early this year for us and brought us freedom from ciggies eh? They may not be gift wrapped and they may not be under the tree but e-cigs and this forum are gifts!x

Congrats... it is THAT easy... (was a 1+ PAD smoker..did it just like you are):toast:

TIP: Get and keep (on hand) spares of all things you use. (Battery/batteries, Atomizers/Cleromizers/Cartomizers...and juice).. all things wear out/get used up, and never when it's convenient (this tip is based on personal freak-out experience.)

Ditto the above quote!
Very happy for you and wishing your family and you a very Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year. WHOO HOO!

good for you! I quit 14 months ago. Going from 3 1/2 packs a day to vaping in 3 days, and haven't looked back. Insurance pushed me over the edge.. as a smoker, it would be a extra $35 per pay as a smoker, but vaping doesn't constitute as being a smoker, so I quit the day before that policy was activated:toast::blush:

When I first started vaping, I lost the urge for a cigarette. I was outside at work when I realized my battery wasn't charged. I had a spare upstairs at my desk however. I got a cig from one of my co-workers, and after liting it up and taking a few drags, I asked myself, what in the world did I see in these things for 45 years?!? I've been tobacco free for 3.5 months and enjoying it. I'm not looking back either.

I really can't believe how good I am doing with my new e-cig.

It's been 36 hours since i received my first e-cig in the mail and i have not touched a single cigarette since. I am so grateful for stumbling into this community, without your guidance I would probably still be overwhelmed with how big this market is - I had no idea where to start.

my first setup: 1000mHa ego-C / vision ego stardust clearomizer + some really tasty juice.

what's even more surprising is i have not even finished my first 1.6mL fill into my clearomizer. I've been a pack a day smoker for years now and i was pretty sure i would be going through e-juice like there is no tomorrow but this stuff is really lasting a long time for me.

really hope i can keep this up.

Congrat!!!
I don't think I had a 2ml day in my short non-analog experience.

Keep on keeping on...First things first!
