Iv been using a 6v mod for a while now (2 years), but it seems that the button is very... temperamental.
I love what I have right now because its a tank. I can freakin hammer nails into a wall with it.

So im looking for a new ecig, maybe one that will work with RCR123a's that iv been using.
but the butting is a STRONG surefire press...EVERY TIME.. even a year later... Not a cheap little micro switch.

Any suggestions? Iv been looking at the GLV at the moment.

Thanks guys.

GLV2 is one of the best 5 volt PV's and for most is more satisfing than a 6 volt PV. But if I was buying a new PV today (I actually just did for the first time in almost a year), I would get one of the top of the line variable volt PV's. That would be the Darwin from nhaler or the ProVari. I got the Darwin because of the automatic power adjustment feature and the provided 2 year warranty. Here is a reveiw:

How are standard cartos on 5 volts? I pop a carto on my 6v. and MAN it rips hard.

I does burn threw liquid pretty quick though...and burns out the atty in about a week (it gets a clogged feeling when I try and hit it)

I was even thinking about going to a 3.7v ecig again using an LR atty, but i dont know, 8 bux a pop for attys its a bit insane... especially because i go though like a 5 pack of cartos a month.

But 5 a month isnt that bad for me price wise seeing they are only 8 bux for a 5 pack... v.s. LR's at 8 bux each.

Agreed. With a good variable volt you really don't have to be concerned with how a particular atty or carto works on that PV. You just adjust the PV to fit the particular atty/carto.

Yeah I don't think I need an adjustable voltage unit. I'm probably just going to stock with cartos.
How is the reliability of they glv button? I'm really sick of crappy buttons that you have to wiggle around to get them to work. And I'm also sick of it going off in my pocket and burning up my attys

Why not skip the button altogether? I LOVE my Silver Bullet to death, and the button is killer no doubt, but what about an omega? You want surefire, a mechanical switch is surefire every time never fail. I don't have an omega because I have a bullet, but I did get the Alpha which is identical to the omega except it's smaller. The mechanical switch is a true no fail contact. Also, I'm surprised you are having trouble finding the SB, it's always in stock when I look. Either way, if you get one of Chad's mods from altsmoke, I highly recommend the Silver Vein finish.

P.S.-My buddy has a GLV2, which he loved, until he tried my SB at 6 volts. He just bought an Omega because of it, lol.
