It's been tough

All my music, pics and files are kept on a 2nd HD. My favorites are backed up only when I want to move to my laptop, so I copy to a jump drive. My CPU fan took a dive on me last week. So I jumped into my sons computer until I could grab another fan. What a lifesaver. I was only missing 10 bookmarks or so. These can't be memorized so easily as they change from week to week.

Nod32 is awesome!! I've used it for years.
It's made by ESET ESET - Antivirus Software with Spyware and Malware Protection
it comes as either an antivirus standalone or a security suite. It's not bloated like Norton or Mcafee.

Thanks for the link; I'll check it out. Now, can you tell me what you mean about Norton being bloated?

Hi VG sorry to take so long to get back to you. When I say Norton/Symantec is bloated or has a big footprint I mean it's a big install when it doesn't need to be. It's a resource hog and in some instances it can slow your PC down.

It's also really hard to uninstall as it's own uninstaller doesn't remove all of the files it quite happily installed. In most cases you have to get a seperate clean up tool to get rid of the left over files from the Norton/Symantec product.

This is just my opinion.
