It's been two months since I stopped smoking and it's affected vaping in a weird way.

I'm doing a lot of coughing and actually having problems inhaling vapor sometimes. Even the vape can make me cough.. Seems like the lungs are expelling crap and clogging up the works. Sound familiar anyone? I actually thought my e liquid tank was faulty because I couldn't take a hit.

I would say its totally normal. When I quit it was not stop coughing gagging up nasty crud, after a while it didn't hurt my lungs or throat so much, I could taste things again I even stop using so much salt on my food lol!...it was the same for my mom, she didn't believe me when I told her that it would get better and now she doesn't cough up crud for like an hour when she wakes up. Keep in it and it will get all better!!

Totally normal.

As is the black crud you'll cough up.

Everyone who has quit smoking goes through the same thing, even people who don't vape. It's your lungs and throat healing. As the tar is removed from your lungs, the newly exposed tissue is sensitive and easily irritated. The good part is that it's only temporary. The more your lungs clear out and the more they heal the less irritation you'll have, and it really doesn't take very long before you're no longer bothered by it.

Never happened to me.

Maybe, or maybe it's the liquid you're vaping. Have you tried another PG/VG ratio or nicotine level ?

I personally can't vape > 80% VG. Gives me a heavy/clogged lung sensation and makes me cough like crazy.
