But our receptionist... she was supposed to quit smoking before her grandbaby was born. She didn't. I talked her into going for the same two step approach the intern did and her daughter that wanted her to quit cigs in the first place convinced her to give up the vape. Because "it's dangerous."
It's what I call a "mental block"... like a brick wall. Don't even try... they won't listen. It's really too bad because we want to help others.

A neighbor of mine came up to me a couple days ago while I was outside vaping, he said: That's going to kill you! I could tell he was simply repeating from what he seen on the news. I politely informed him that: nah! it's the illegal drugs that teens have been putting in their vape that has been the problem lately. Then my neighbor surprised me and said, oh, you think it's that Vitamin E thing? I was so happy he said that, because it showed me that maybe not all the news is twisting the story around.

A co-worker heard me vaping of skype today and told me what she had heard about vaping and deaths. Being a coworker, I couldn't tell her to .... off. So I told her that those were most if not all linked to illegal cannabis use. She thanked me for giving me that information and she said she will seek out both sides of the stories.

That is all I can hope for. For people to get informed of all sides of the story and then form their own opinions.
