Hey all, I'm back again with some more reviews of some liquids from Red Rock Liquids. These guys are making some really top notch juices, I've vaped their stuff almost exclusively since I had the opportunity to meet the guys behind these delicious juices. Today, I am reviewing 2 flavors from their Chocolate Collection. I haven't tried any chocolate flavors since I was still using an eGo and CE4 clearo's simply because they all tasted horribly artificial, ruined coils very quickly and were just not very pleasant vapes. I was promised that their chocolate flavors didn't have that sugar free cocoa powder nasty taste and that they didn't ruin your wicks and coils like most chocolate flavors did. Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised with these flavors! That's enough introduction, let's get on to the review!

Red Rock Liquid's Chocolate Collection are 70/30 VG/PG blends and are available in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strengths. You can purchase these liquids at www.redrockliquids.com and they are $12/15mL and $20/30mL.

I tested these liquids at 0, 3 and 6mg on clapton and fused clapton coils in my Mutation X v4.

Chocolate Rain
Vendor description:
Enjoy a sweet and smooth chocolate chip flavor on both the inhale, exhale, and aftertaste

Vapor production: 3.3/5
At 70% VG, vapor production on this juice was very respectable. I would say it performs as expected for a 70/30 blend and will not leave you dissatisfied.

Throat hit: 1/5
This liquid is incredibly smooth at all nicotine levels, you could make it 2/5 for 6mg and 0/5 for 0mg. There is enough of a punch to the throat at 3mg that you can tell you are indeed inhaling vapor, but it's pretty light. For me, this is ideal.

Flavor: 4/5
This is the first chocolate vape I have tried that didn't remind me of sugar free, artificial tasting nasty chocolate. I get a very rich chocolate flavor that is reminiscent of Cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA without the cereal taste, just straight up chocolate. On the exhale, I get a bit of a bitter almost baker's chocolate-esque taste that sounds unappealing but it is just the opposite. I find it rounds out the sweetness of the milk chocolate inhale just enough that this flavor isn't overwhelmingly sweet. As a side note, I find that this liquid doesn't linger in your wicks like some chocolate vapes do and you can dry burn your cotton back to almost completely white. As for coil gunk, I did end up with a thick residue on my coils after a couple days of vaping this juice which is to be expected with these dark liquids but worth mentioning nonetheless.

Overall: 3.75/5 Maybe not quite an ADV for me, but a great liquid to drip occasionally just to have something different from what I would normally vape that is quite delicious

Chocomint
Vendor description:
Creamy chocolate mixed with a delicious peppermint aftertaste

Vapor production: 3.3/5
This liquid performs similarly to Chocolate Rain as far as vapor production, and will not disappoint.

Throat hit: 2.5/5
The mint flavor in this juice adds a decent kick to the back of the throat. At 3mg, it was perfect for me but I found it to be a little much at 6mg.

Flavor: 3.3/5
Chocomint is described as a peppermint patty type of flavor, but I get more of an Andes mint. The mint overpowers the chocolate on both the inhale and the exhale making for a refreshing vape that doesn't come across as menthol. The chocolate flavor in this seems like it may be the same as Chocolate Rain, but it's very light compared to the mint. Imagine an Andes mint with more of the mint filling than the chocolate outside and that is pretty much exactly what this juice tastes like to me. This one also left my cotton pretty clean, but gunked up my coils much worse and much faster than Chocolate Rain.

Overall: 3.5/5 Definitely not an ADV for me, but it is definitely a nice change of pace every once in a while.
