It's happened again.....

First it was Cafe Mocha - inventory ran out and it was replaced many, many months later. Unfortunately, it was from a different supplier and was so bitter it could knock a buzzard off a ... well, you know what kind of wagon.

Now, it's White Chocolate. I got two new bottles early this month and was immediately concerned as the juice was pink unlike the normal lovely golden color. It's been steeping since the 5th of July - no change in color. I've got a quarter of an old bottle left, but with the Wheel a spinnin' I decided to crack open the new and taste before I ordered more.
EEEEWWWWW - it's like vaping perfume. I used a new cart and it's not my taste buds changing as I can go back to my tank with the old White Chocolate in it and it's tasty.

It's very disappointing to come to rely on the flavor of a juice only to have it changed on you (via different supplier) without any sort of indication that suppliers have changed. I think this sort of information should be passed on to customers especially since, due to safety/health issues, we are not allowed to return juice. I'm afraid I no longer have any confidence in ordering juice from V4L.

BHam, aren't people in the know testing these? When changing suppliers, I would think it imperative to get as close as possible to the prior flavor. Lack of consistency is the reason many customers leave!

I need to correct the record here:

We have NOT changed suppliers on any flavors in the Wow or Premium line.
The suppliers producing those lines have not changed since their inception.

First off, I apologize for any problems you have had. Customer Service should be able to help if something is off.

We do check each and every shipment. Color is not a good indicator of taste. E-liquid can darken over time and is generally sensitive to light, but this has negligible effect on taste.

For what it's worth, I just pulled 2 bottles of White Chocolate 8mg from 2 different batches. They are very noticeably different in appearance. One is so dark I can barely see thru it. The other is a very light pink.
I filled a CoolCart with each and compared. They taste identical to me. I will have Mark compare them also, but there is no difference I can detect between these 2 batches.

I also tested it and I have a pretty sensitive pallette. To me there is no difference in tasted. Like Wade said, the supplier for our juices have never changed.

Glad you don't discern the difference in taste; both my husband and I did.

I wonder what is really going on here? Perhaps the suppliers are holding back info from V4L??

I'm a teacher and off during the summer - this is one time I could actually meet the mailman at the box...
I've stored it in my kitchen island drawer - nice and dark and cool. I had hoped the color would change after steeping and frankly I don't care that it's pink - I'd vape it if it was pea-green. V4L has let me know there's a new shipment of White Chocolate coming in - I'll give the new shipment a try. Hopefully, this other was just an off-batch!

Wow at least you got an answer and a pm .When i asked twice in the last 7 months for them to check smilin premium i got bubkas ( sp? ) ...finally I have another batch that came in my order and its tasting like smilin is supposed to .
hmmmm maybe i should get as many bottles of this batch (3/2012 ) as i can afford .I can be without any juice but not smilin premium .

we noticed a considerable difference in the recent wow peppermint. i dont order in bulk, but 8-10 bottles at a time is enough. the recent shippment with a prod code 20052012 is much darker almost a brown. i have had several people try it and ask what they taste. all said chocolate and pepperint. just a heads up tp any one who is ordering this flavor. not bad, but different. i am not a chocolate guy but it is tolerable.
