I'm so happy I got this in but I am noticing a slight off taste so I was wondering what the normal break in peroid was on these.

Hey . Did you wash everything with dish soap and hot water? Except the ceramic and ceramic housing those can just be rinsed off. This will get off all the machining stuff left on there.
