Ok, first let me say that I have never seen such good customer service from a company Thank You Mark, Valerie and Steve. I got my Ultimate Auto Kit but it didn't have an option to choose white when I ordered, I talked to Val and she said don't worry about it on your next order just put it in the comments and we will send you two new white ones. Thank You, you have a customer for life. Also, it took 2 days to get here, WOW!!!! And of course I got a nice freebie sampler pack to try out. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

Ok, sorry for the long intro (I don't know any other way ;o), now to the questions:

1. Do I have to charge the batteries the full 8hrs? They are charging right now and one of the batts already shows green. I don't want to hurt the batteries, but it's killing me not being able to try these things....I would have to wait until midnight if I waited the full 8hrs..

2. Is their a particular way to store the cartos? I see that their are plastic caps on both ends and one of those caps has a plastic stick that goes into the hole..do I need to have it standing up a certain way? Well after looking at the sampler pack, I noticed those cartos don't have the little insert that goes into the hole, should they?

Sorry for the newbie questions, I'm sure their will be more.

Ok, I have 8mg cowboy and then 11mg sampler pack. The 8mg cowboy has a nice hit. ONE PROBLEM, my battery shuts off after like 3 seconds at most, it just cuts off. I saw on youtube that the LED would start blinking before cutting off. My battery just cuts off. I have the Regular Autos, any ideas? do i have defective batteries?

It sounds like you may have one of the older model batteries with a 5 second cut off and the short "drag time" would be normal in that case. The LED blinks several times when the battery is dead, but wouldn't do that if it were cutting off as designed. I'll have to leave some of the more detailed answers to those here who are more technologically inclined, though.

Enjoy your kit!

DO you know what you would have if you split Alaska in half? Two states larger than Texas! ;)

An Alaskan was bragging how rich he was in front of a Texan.
He said " Alaskans are rich enough to build a golden fence all the way around Texas." The Texan repied: "That's great! You build it we will buy it."

They should blink several times at cutoff (sorry to disagree, AlCo, I haven't seen one yet that doesn't, but I guess there may be some...). Airflow and how hard you're drawing come to mind. Try it with a different carto? 3sec != 5sec, and the Ultimate shouldn't be coming with 5sec batteries.

The caps (called "condoms" in the parlance here) probably should be replaced if you're not using them. They keep it clean and keep it from drying out. Other than that, no orientation issue.

I recommend that an Auto V4L that has a cartomizer screwed on be transported or stored cartomizer (cartridge) side down for common carry so there isn't any chance of juice running into the battery. I've yet to have a battery fail after instituting that policy myself.

I have 25 batts and rising and have been so lucky - just one that seems to have conked, and one that has a really tight draw. I hope you didn't get a dud in your first order - it's hard to have just one, as rotation is the way. Try a new cart and then contact 'em; they'll help fast.

(Why do I have 25 batts and rising?
I dunno.
I love batts.
They're pretty.
I occasionally give them to interested strangers...)

You do realize Texas was cut almost in half as a condition of joining the Union.

It was big enough that Congress was worried it would take over.

Never mind....NEWBIE MISTAKE.....Once I got the hang of it, I could almost get to the 13 second cutoff....WOW THIS STUFF ROCKS...I was just outside and gave my last two analog packs to my neighbors, sat around and had a few drinks and vaped while they smoked analogs. I gave them all the vapor4life website, and I broke out a cartridge for them to share and they couldn't believe it, hopefully they will order and get off the analogs. I'm getting tons of vapor with my regular automatics, so glad because I wasn't sure if they were going to produce good vapor.

Pawpaw, doesn't Texas have a football team; somewhere around Dallas or something, maybe Houston? Just wondering, there used to be a team from down there in the playoffs once in a while, can't remember though.

No worries, Adrenalynn... maybe I'm not dragging long enough to catch it. One of the best things about this forum is I learn something new every day! :D

Grew up in Texas (Tyler-UGG...Double UGG) and now live in near Philly. Austin ROCKS!!! PHILLY ROCKS MORE!!!.....SORRY GUYS!! STILL LOVE YA"LL!!!

I had the same problem and realized that when the carto has a slow draw you have to suck much harder on the autos. Not just that but its time to "blow out" the carto, and/or wash the carto, or chuck the carto if its too hard to draw.

Some of my autos also take a bit more sucking power than others.

I love the autos and will stick with them. You do have to suck but I find that my carto flavor "stays true" longer with the autos and I like to feel like I'm smoke an analog. The whole button think is annoying to me.

Glad you got it working and love it!!!!!

I hate dealing with covering regularly with condoms. I get lazy. The whole refilling process takes enough of my time.....ha ha. Its worth it!!! I'll try to start covering my cartos more.

MANY CONGRATS!!!!! & WELCOME TO THE CREW!!!!!
