Squonking doesn't come naturally to everyone. I tried "guessing" how much to squonk (failure), tilting the atty so the air hole is facing down and waiting for a gurgle (doable, but not exactly precise), and watching your squonks without the drip tip in (quite helpful). Once I'd done the "watch without the drip tip thing" a bit, I got a feel for how much/long to squonk. (BTW, it varies depending on how thick your juice is, and how full the bottle is (full bottle is easy, near empty takes a lot more pressure)).

Once I figured out how long/hard I needed to squonk to get enough juice, I realized I could just squonk "at least enough", that is, any excess usually drains back into the bottle when you release it. The RM2 is nearly impossible to over squonk, so the trick is to get enough. I'll admit, occasionally I get too much, evidenced by juice coming out of the air hole, but that's rare these days, and usually when I have a nearly full bottle of juice.

It will come to you, grasshopper :)

And welcome to REOville!

Congrats and welcome, I still don't have a hammer tone but it's next on the list, great looking mod.

Getting a REO is like finding your honey hole in the flats and seeing dozens of tails waving, there's just no way to describe it. (I'm assuming from your name that will make sense to you )

Welcome to the Ville!

Welcome to the Ville!

Makes perfect sense to me. Nothing like sight casting to tailing reds out on a open flat. And I am already working on my 2nd reo, just hope there isn't a limit on how many of those you can catch like reds. :D
