I like it. Wish the damn cotton taste would go away. I don't usually use cotton. Anybody use silica or ecowool?
Does the cotton taste go away eventually?

I have to boil all cotton in distilled water or I get that taste. Yuck. Even the sterile or organic. Some people don't taste it. We're just lucky.

It does for me and most folks I know. I also use rayon and koh gen do from time to time and I think it has less of a "taste" out of the gate. After you run a few mls through the cotton, it should taste like juice only tho

Lots of folks load the RM2 with silica or ecowool. Twist one up and give it a try, what's it going to hurt.

What type of cotton are you using? In general, it should have NO taste, if it does...your wick is too dense/thick and your tails look really long.

You want to keep them even with the base of the RM2, no over hang.

First off, it looks like way too much cotton. The saying is "less is more". I have used ecowool, cotton, rayon, KGD - Japanese cotton, RxW - Nextel ceramic braided wick. I don't use cotton anymore, just KGD, sometimes rayon, known as cellucotton, and RxW. I never use silica.

If you're across the pond readyxwick is a no go as it is export controlled and not allowed to be shipped out of the US. KGD is the best cotton I've tried.

If you can get Koh Gen Do then get it. It has no cotton taste, and it is very easy to wick.

RXW is my go to. I love wrapping a coil wicking it and not having to think about it for 6 months. YMMV.

Still not getting a decent throat hit. Moved the coil higher, trimmed off a bit of cotton. Using Bobas Bounty. Seems I'm getting too airy of a hit. Flavor is good, vapor is good.
.8 ohm coil.

You may want to go down to 0.5

Well in my Protank 2's it's not a problem and those are about 1.8 I think. Nic level = 24

You'd be OK with that battery, I believe it is 11amps and 4.2v @ 0.5 = 8.4 amps.

Well at 1 ohm, it doesn't even get warm. Anyhow I put a rubber o-ring on the base so I could tighten down the top cap and off center the air hole from the wick slightly and BAMMO!!! Thing hits like a champ. Gotta slow down a bit here, starting to sweat.
